The Luxury Lip Collection

I was so excited when Wayne announced this collection. I know it was a work in progress for a while and I could not wait to get my hands on it!

I want to be very honest because I think consumers, spending their money, need to know the real deal about the product, aside from supporting someone like Wayne who I really admire. The price tag of these products require that the quality match or live up to the investment.

I purchased the whole collection. The lip liners are definitely high quality and I can fully support the purchase of them. However, the lip glosses are just terrible. They’re sticky (gloopy) and the pigment in them begins to gather into patches and globs at the inner rim of the lips, within 15 minutes of wear time. The formula ingredients do not seem to be well emulsified.

The lipsticks, in my humble opinion, are lower mid range, and the formula falls somewhere between Revlon and Mac (not as high quality as Becca, or even ABH at $18). The wear time, was along the lines of Revlon Super Lustrous (2-3 hours). The price tag of the lipsticks, for me, is way overpriced and most of the shades had an orange undertone.

I can recommend the lip liners, and I look forward to Wayne and the production crew improving on the formulas of the glosses and lipsticks, as well as delving into cooler toned shades and shades that are more inclusive of different skin tones.

68 yr old with now silver hair and olive skin(?).. most lipsticks lift orange on me. Waynes colors all have a beautiful rich pigment that stays true to its intended color. I adore the liners (thank god for the hard point return!). And, glosses? Well, I’ve become a convert. Who knew?! **Wayne, I am proud of your vision and hard work. You deserve the best that life has to offer you handsome man!

The lipsticks are creamy and not drying at all. The color payoff even on the nudes that match my skin tone are on point. The glosses can be paired with any lip color and the lip liners can definitely be worn on their own. I don't regret buying this collection.

As a longtime follower of Wayne, I knew that I would be purchasing his new beauty line as soon as it was released. It hasn't disappointed! I'm in his target age range at 46 and I am a lipstick wh*re. I wear lipstick all day, every day and have since I was 16. My collection rivals most beauty guru's and I of course have my favorites. When the set of lip liners, lipsticks and glosses arrived, I couldn't wait to try them out together and then alone. I've now had them for many months and can say they are still one of my favorite sets I've purchased in a long time. I still wear it all daily, but of course am sad I can't wear it when I'm out due to wearing masks. I love the fact they are not drying, glide on easily, do not bleed into my tiny wrinkle lines and is not goopy at all. They are very soothing on my lips and don't have that awful "lipsticky" overly perfumed smell or taste that so many have. In fact, I love the slightly minty taste of the gloss so much!
