About Brush 14
Discover the secret to perfectly placed highlighter, blush, and bronzer with Brush 14, an essential tool for any brush collection. The feather-light, wispy hairs gently kiss the curves of the face with a sheer wash of color—all without disturbing foundation or other makeup underneath. It gently sweeps on pigmented blushes for a subtle, barely-there flush.
Brush 14 is also available with The Face Set.
Why It's Special
- Apply cheek products precisely with a sheer, natural finish, thanks to silky, pure-white hairs that pick up and disperse product evenly
- The gently tapered shape easily conforms to facial contours, making detail work on cheekbones and eyes a breeze
- Each brush is carefully handmade in Kumano, Japan by more than 20 artisans using traditional brush making techniques
How to Use
Gently glide Brush 14's tip over the high points of the face to create a soft halo of highlighter. To use with bronzer, sweep along the hairline and cheekbones for added warmth. Brush 14 is also excellent for applying setting powder to targeted areas, such as the T-zone and under the eyes.
We recommend washing your brush occasionally with warm water and a gentle soap or brush cleanser, such as Clean Apothecary Brush Shampoo. Dry your brush with a Brush Guard to maintain the shape of the bristles.

There is a learning curve...
I already have the airbrush wayne goss brush which is beautiful at blending and diffusing. I need something specifically for blush, I tried using the Num 14 like the Airbrush in circular motions...it didn't look great. The best way to use this brush is in downwards or upward strokes on the cheekbones. That being said, I still go back over it with the Airbrush to diffuse harsh edges. I wanted a brush that did it all with blush, this is not it. Plus it sheds! It shed when I gently took off the plastic wrap, it sheds every single day. That being said my Airbrush sheds as well.

...I thought it was going to be softer. And it does shed every so often. Having said that, its become my go-to blush brush. I even use it as my highlighter brush, too, since I like putting highlighter on my cheeks. I just imagine its potential and how amazing it could be if it were softer.

I always have problems applying blush on my checks, somehow it always turns out patchy and unprofessional looking. I use Real-techniques, Bare Minerals and all kind of soft synthetic brushes for blush application (i went through easily 10 types of soft synthetic brushes, paddle shape, angled shape, dome shape etc....). Long story short, i finaly found my perfect brush for blush application. It gives me great application everytime. I have many Makeup geek blushes which can be highly pigmented and tad too dark for my skin, but using this brush to apply, gives a light sheerer application. Loving my MUG blushes now!!!!

This is nice brush but I'll only give it three stars. The reason for that is because I was disappointed that it was not fluffier which gives me a heavy and concentrated blush application. My brush also shed a few times and the bristles aren't that soft. I have a Mac 137 brush that I prefer because it's fluffier and softer which gives me a softer blush application.

I love this brush! I have several blushes that are very pigmented and because of the fluffiness of this brush it doesn't pick up too much product. I am able to build the amount of blush gradually. I have also tried using this brush to apply highlight and it does an excellent job with that since I prefer a more subtle diffused application. I have the Goss Airbrush which I use to blend any hard edges. I have not experienced any shedding with my brush. I am considering purchasing another #14 cheek brush so I have a back up.

This brush is the perfect size for carving out your cheekbones with a bronzer, or dusting highlighter along the top of the cheekbone. You can really control where you're putting your cheek color because of the slim shape of the bristles. And it's soft and gentle on my skin. Wayne's brushes are pricey, but obviously worth it. I'll keep adding his brushes one or two at a time to keep it budget friendly, but I will buy more.

Goss 14 applies blush so perfectly. Sheds bad though. Rarely use it to save it but every time I do, it sheds. 😩
Am late in the goss game. Started only with this set along with the eye set of the same season. I reckon his previous ones were more superior in quality.

This is hands down my favourite blusher brush from any brand. It deposits the right amount of colour onto my cheeks each time I use it. I will say my very first one which I got around two years ago and have retired since did shed (a lot) and got fairly scratchy. Since then my newest three brushes (all purchased within last 2 years) have not been a problem at all (I think my original may have been a dodgy one). So soft, luxurious and cleans easily. I would invest in a brush guard to help keep the form over time (even a cheap one will do). Love them!

I received this brush in my 2018 Beutylish Lucky Bag and I love it! I've only had mine for less than a month at this point but I have not had any shedding like a lot of the other reviewers have. The shape of this screams highlight or contour to me, not blush because I don't think the shape is well suited for blush (seems like it would deposit a lot of color in one spot and not diffuse well). I use mine for highlight and have been loving the way it applies product. Not too much but not too little and I haven't had any blending issues. Based off of how much I like this brush I am now considering a few other Wayne Goss brushes!

I have been following Wayne for 8 years and always loved his informative videos. This brush gives such a flawless, effortless blended blush application. I honestly will not use any other brush for blush ever again. Wayne you are genius.
