Seamless Eye Primer

One thing to note is that during winter, my eyes water like crazy! So in these situations I have to forget shadows or just go without primer because both the primers I’ve been using erase the shadows off completely the moment I start to tear up. This primer, however, doesn’t do that. The shadows stayed on perfectly and I was pleasently surprised! Also, I have really hooded eyes and all shadows crease a lot on my eyes. This one prevented my matte shadows from creasing, and the colors didnt fade away! I still need to use glitter glue for the shimmers though.

There were some cons as well. I noticed that the shadows took some more time to build up (totally worth it because they stayed on beautifully for hours even with severe tearing outdoors without fading), and the tube squirts too much product out. So be careful when squeezing your product out. I would have taken a star off for these reasons, but I’m just so happy that I finally found a primer that could withstand my winter watery eyes, that I would give it the five stars.

So, my next request would be for Viseart to start making glitter glue? I love my Too Faced glitter glue, but I’m interested to see what vieseart could do for glitter and shimmer shadows.

This is a very thin formula that feels hydrating and is a remarkable primer for shadow. My shadows go on color true and wear for an entire day...12 hours for me...with no creasing or fading. I hate primers generally because for me they always make things crease faster, but this really is exceptional. My only complaint is that it would be better in a bottle with a pump. Because the formula is so thin, you have to be very careful when squeezing the tube or you will get too much or it will shoot out all over everything. I already wasted a bit the first few times I used it.

This is one of my favorite eye primers. I shake it and then put a little on the back of my hand and use a brush to pick it up and apply on my eyelid. Then give a second or two and it will be dry. Because it is thin, it feels weightless and I don't feel like product builds up as with some other primers. My initial thought is that its too watery and its a waste. I was wrong! My shadows stay and last much better with this on. If this was in a pump, too much might be wasted and sometimes pumps squirt too much out. The packaging is perfect the way it is......

Viseart calls it a "milk glass" consistency and that's what it is. It does NOT separate! Its a creamy, velvet texture that is just delicious. It glides all over the lids very evenly and holds the shadows. I love it!

Ok this has blown my mind. I have used too Faced, the crayon case, Younique, tarte, Sephora and more that this has them all beat. It’s very close though to fenty s new amplifying eye primer they are now gonna be the only Two I use. I highly recommend the Viseart primer.

I did not see an edit function for my earlier review. While I stand by my review that this is a phenomenal product, the delivery system of this really is poor. I am already out of product because the tube squirts out too much or because it is so thin it runs out of the tip of the tube, not that it ever felt that the tube was “full”. This should have lasted much longer than two months. I will not repurchase because as stellar as the contents are, the tube makes it so wasteful.

I love that this primer goes on silky which is different than others. It does not dry out my lids and the colors go on true. They last throughout the day without creasing. I'm impressed!

It holds up to the high standard the Viseart shadows hold! Extremely hydrating and provides a seamless application. If there was anything that could make the Viseart shadows easier to blend (they blend so easy on their own!) it’s this primer.

I’m a huge fan of the Viseart eyeshadows, particularly the neutral and dark mattes palettes. I was looking for a replacement for my UD Primer Potion as that was my tried and true (the version in packaging similar to this) and thought I’d give this a go. I have to say I was really disappointed, to the point where I’ve ended up throwing this away. The consistency is silicone-y, which isn’t my favourite as I have very oily eyelids but it’s performance was the worse part. I did a test of one eye primer and the other without any primer and it performed worse than no primer at all! My eyeshadow creased within an hour! And the product seems to split in the tube, I often got a dollop if clear grease before the primer came out. Overall this wasn’t for me and I would not recommend

A good base, the shadows lasted all day, did not roll (with an impending eyelid, an eternal problem), faded a little, but these are trifles, on the whole I am satisfied.
