A little bit disappointed

I have wanted this fragrance for a couple of years now. To call myself a fragrance enthusiast is an understatement. Santal/Sandalwood is my absolute favorite note and I heard so many good things about this scent. Unfortunately, this fragrance has no depth or layering to it. Its just a linear sandalwood with little or no accompaniment. It lasts 3 or 4 hours on me, at best. It smells pleasant, but it isn't anywhere near what I had hoped it would be.
