Salicylic Acid 2% Solution

A few people have "complained" about it foaming up... It foams ever so slightly,very slightly... can just notice it... This goes away in several seconds and after around 10-15 seconds (on me at least) it's completely absorbed and I can't even feel it (or see anything) anymore. If a few seconds of very slight foaming offends you, you definitely have too much time on your hands or need to find a hobby!!!

It's a great price, works as Salicylic should, does what Salicylic should do... What else do you need? I'm happy with the product and have seen some improvement after several weeks of use. Plain, simple and easy...

This product does what a BHA should do, it definitely made my pimples go away faster. However the way it applies is quite weird, this watery gel lathers when you rub it on your skin. I was freaked out the first time using this. I would much prefer a liquid form of the product, but it dries faster than my Alpha-H Liquid Gold (glycolic acid). Generally considering the price, this is a great option if you want to try a BHA. It's a good product, I just don't love it.

I only get hormonal acne at my age and this clears up my occasional bumps in three days or less! It can get a little foamy if you rub it in but it will absorb if you give it a minute. Less than a drop works great and it has helped with the blackheads on my nose though it took about a week and a half. Lovely product would like a slightly bigger bottle my teenager is using it all up!

I'm a big fan of BHA products to unclog my pores and I really love this particular formulation. It doesn't sting but it's potent enough to unclog cystic acne, stubborn closed comedones or even your ordinary, congested dull skin. The only problem I have with this is it's such a small bottle and you could use it up very fast if you use it too liberally. Otherwise, I don't have any complaints. Superb product.

This stuff is my HG. I have always gotten breakouts and this stuff....well this stuff has stopped them. I get occasional hormonal breakouts and this serum gets rid of them in about two days. You don't need a lot as a little spreads a long way. I do wish this would come in the bigger bottle personally.

I am enjoying this Salicylic 2% Solution. My breakouts are healing in 1/2 the time that they would by incorporating this in my skincare routine. I use this day and night, (mainly for spot treating), and the spreadability is insane! The foaming takes a bit of getting used to, but with the results that I've received, it's more than worth it. 😃 For those who suffer from cystic acne, I would definitely give this a try.

Yet another simple product from the Ordinary that does exactly what you expect it to. I was not getting enough effect from using a moisturizer with Salicylic acid (SA) in it, however at 42 years old I need moisture. Now I apply the Ordinary's SA to a clean face and wait a minute to let it dry and then apply my moisturizer with SA and this is the perfect mix for my skin to keep my mild adult acne under control.

This stuff worked so fast. Within a couple days I've seen such crazy progress with my problem areas! I've had a couple big zits I've been working on getting rid of and this is making what would be a week or two of work into just 3-4 days and they're diminished! I use the plant based squalane oil in the morning and at night I mix that with the rosehip oil and my face has looked better than it has in 7 years. And that's saying something! Almost all of my scarring is gone and any new pimples don't stand a chance against this stuff. Also! The peeling solution mask is a must have. I hope everyone with any skin problems finds this amazing brand.

I rub this along my problem areas nightly, and it in a week reduced the amount of acne. Even when I still have hormonal outbreaks, this really helps to reduce the severity of my spots!

This product lathers when you rub it on your skin, just like what other reviewers said. It also leaves a tacky/sticky feeling on your skin, which is very undesirable for blemish skin.
