Once a week. Honestly. No more. Its too strong. 10 minutes, once a week and your skin will GLOW. You can immediately feel the difference and see. Takes away dead skin cells, smoother brighter skin. But once a week only. Daily use will cause a whole host of issues.

Hands down best resurfacing there is. I agree with Vito F. that it isn't a "burning feeling" it feels like you are getting a facial tattoo - but it passes after a minute. Hang in there. You will have the best surface for makeup you can imagine (or bare!). I think this is one of the most outstanding values in this entire line. The before and after for even one treatment is jaw-dropping.

I've always wondered why when wearing makeup my skin looked worse. The top photo is the day after I went hiking and the second photo is one use of this product three days later. My skin isn't really sensitive so I didn't really get that tingling feeling. I've used this about 4 times and 2x a week because like I said I'm not super sensitive and it didn't harm my face. This stuff really works.

A chemical peel at home can sound really scary. I know I hesitated in using this for about 2 weeks after I got it. I'm familiar with acids, my skin is pretty sturdy, but I was still a little scared.

I finally decided to try it and all I can say is I can't wait until next week when I can do it again. It's that good. I didn't feel a burning sensation, it's more like a sting, but it was minimal and didn't last more than 45 seconds. I also don't go crazy and slather myself in the stuff. I used it at night followed by a HA rich night mask and the next day my skin was so freaking soft and smooth it was crazy. I couldn't stop touching it. Now it's 3 days later and I can still feel the softness on my forehead. I thought about trying a more expensive product (something with a little TLC), but ok, $80 ?? When the Ordinary makes the same thing with a slightly higher AHA volume and it works like a charm? Yeah, I'm sticking to this. Try it. You will not regret it.

As a lover of all skincare resurfacing, retexturing, and exfoliating, I was keen to try this. Well-let me tell you....this is the ONE. Beware: tingle is a slight understatement. It feels like sharp pokes/burns for a minute or so, but once that dissipates, it is a mini facial well worth it.

This stuff is a miracle in a bottle. I only use it once a week but you can see the difference almost immediately. I didn't find there was a sting but it's strong so it may tingle for those people newer to acids. This stuff is brilliant, but definitely stick to once a week, this is not a daily product.

This product is seriously the most incredible chemical exfoliant/peel I have ever put on my skin. I personally only felt a tiny little bit of stinging sensation because my skin is quite tough and resilient (and I use two dropperful of this viscous liquid) but if you have sensitive or thin skin definitely start with a small amount and see how you react to it.

In terms of effectiveness, I can see and feel a difference right away. I have oily skin hence higher desquamation rate so I exfoliate regularly. I have tried more than twenty different scrubs and chemical peels (including the Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha-Beta Peels) but nothing compares to this! Although the packaging says to leave it on for no more than ten minutes, but my tough skin can get away with fifteen minutes. After I washed it off, I felt like a brand new person. The outer layer of dead skin was gone and I could tell that my skin became much brighter and softer. It even "brought up" a small zit on my forehead. This product is a game-changer that will become a part of my skin care routine for years to come. Thank you Beautylish and The (Extra)Ordinary!

I've only been using this product for a short time but I've already noticed improvement in my skin. It seems to almost bring out the blemishes which is nice because I notice a tightening of my pores afterwards. My skin is brighter. I highly recommend all products from The Ordinary.

As a user of chemical exfoliation in its various incarnations for many years I have abandoned all the rest for this product! I do not experience dryness with this one, however I do have ouly skin. There is a sting when first applied, however this dissipates and there is no discomfort for me. I immeduately wash off after 10 minutes and moisturize with Niacinamide and Buffet. I really enjoy this and have already bought another bottle. I use it every other day and alternate with Retinoid 2% serum. It is not recommended, but I know my skin and this is working for me. Quality is exceptional and the price is very affordable!

Uhhh incredible. This product was my introduction to this brand, could not be happier I stumbled across it. I've used this potion twice - the texture and pours across my nose and cheeks that made a dramatic entrance 5 or 6 years ago have vanished... I'm wigging tf out guys.
