100% Cold-Pressed Virgin Marula Oil

Stats: 59 y/o but with (mostly) smooth and (mostly) youthful looking skin. I was swept away with Drunk Elephant (DE) Marula Oil, which I tried in the deluxe size. But $72 an ounce for DE? It was certainly worth giving The Ordinary a try.

For four weeks I did an A/B test. I put DE on one half of my face, and The Ordinary on the other. No difference. Each left my skin smoother, evened-out, and glowing. This product is the exact same as Drunk Elephant. I absolutely love it and it is replacing all my top end oils ranging from Kiehl's, to Sisley, to Biologique Rercherche. It's that good.

I like to use it after serums and AHAs. I then wait a few minutes before I put on my lotion. I've been using this at night and it's just perfect. I wake up to very soft, moisturized, plump skin. I'm so glad I bought two, as it is always sold out! 10/10 would recommend.

I have problems with my hands being extremely dry. If anyone else has experienced this they know that putting on products sometimes causes this horrible stinging and burning sensation. I love using this oil because it doesn't cause pain even when my hands are cracked. The finish isn't oily and it absorbs quickly into the skin. This oil also doesn't really have a smell either which is nice. I have so many hand creams and this beats them all on the non greasy feel, moisturizing, and not feeling like my hands have just been dipped in acid. I'm not worried going into the winter months now! It's also great as a face oil!

I really like this Marula oil. It is for sensitive skin and that is no lie! I have dry to normal skin, slightly sensitive and a bit acne prone. I can't use harsh skin products and typically stay away from chemical exfoliators. I use this right before my moisturizer and am very happy with how it preforms. After a week or so I noticed the little bit of acne I have clears up and heals so much faster. I mean within 2-3 days a new spot is gone and I don't have that lingering red acne spot that used to hang around for days or weeks. For larger acne or even cystic acne, it really helped reduce the size over night. The moisture is great and keeps pesky dry flaky skin away. I use this morning and night and have noticed a slight improvement in the texture and radiance of my skin. I don't feel the need to exfoliate as much. Overall, I am really happy with this oil!!! I would highly recommend to use for those with dry, sensitive and acne prone skin!

I am very pleased with this oil. Not only do I use it on my face, neck and declette and I love using it on my body as well. I especially like applying it to my hands, followed by a good moisturizer at night. In fact, I use the Ordinary 10% Lactic Acid on my hands first followed by the Marula oil and my moisturizer for a hand treatment.

This is THE Marula oil you NEED in your life. Don’t waste your money on the overpriced contenders. I promise you this is the oil that will change your skin overnight!

I was using Drunk Elephants Marula Oil, which is wonderful, but it's price isn't! I did research and watched review videos and came upon The Ordinary! Best purchase I have made! The size and the price is PERFECT and you can tell the quality is there! I love using this, I use it every night after I clean my face, and then I apply moisturizer if still need just for some extra hydration! It has def reduced my forehead wrinkles as well!

I bought this for my skin as a replacement oil for the winter change in NYC. I lost it the first day my BH stole it after one try in his beard. I must say it changes how his beard reacts to his daily washing routine and helps it keep its shape overnight. I got to try a small amount at his mercy and it works great on the skin. I used it moisturize my hand to stand the cold on the commute to work. Was not greasy and didn't get it all over my coat.

I have been using this product for about 10 days and have noticed a significant increase in hydration...my skin just drinks this up!! Will definitely repurchase!
