Product Description
About the Sonia G. Master Face
The Master Face is a powder foundation brush, a buffer, a blender. Depending on the pigmentation of the products or the precision you require, it can also be a bronzer or a blush brush. It’s a big and dense brush shaped like a ball. It has lots of strength to pick up powder products, to blend and buff them but with movement and airiness in the bristles so it feels super soft on the skin. It will follow your face features and work without disturbing your foundation.
Why It’s Special

My new favourite brush!
I've been waiting over a year to get this (I didn't want to buy the whole set) and it really doesn't disappoint! For some context I have an extensive brush collection with over 100 brushes from Chikuhodo, Hakuhodo, Wayne Goss, Sonia G, Surratt etc and for functionality and performance, Sonia G always comes out out top for me. The brush is a mix of dyed and undyed goat hair while somehow having a softness almost comparable to squirrel. Before Sonia G's brushes I'd never been a big fan of goat as I sometimes found it to be too rough, but she's converted me. I love setting my makeup with powder and this brush is perfect for both loose and pressed powder application. Because of the rounded top it's lovely to pounce on the loose powder and then buff it around, while the head is big enough as to not take long to powder the whole face, while still being small enough for detail work and fitting easily into pressed powder pans. But where I think this brush really stands out is for buffing once everything is applied. If I don't like the blend of my blush or bronzer or I want it to all melt together rather than look like different 'sections' on the face, I just buff with this brush and it really is unbelievable! Even when applying a fair amount of pressure it's so soft that it never disrupts the makeup, only diffuses it. I also have the Face One and I have to say I much prefer this brush for buffing as it's more directional and the head is smaller so it can do the nose/chin area with better precision. This is absolutely my new favourite brush and I couldn't recommend it more!

Omg, these brushes are to die for. I have no idea how she does it but these are seriously the softest goat I have ever felt. The softness of the mini cheek is almost like squirrel, it feels as soft as the Wayne Goss airbrush. The master face is soft enough for the most sensitive skin, 0 scratchiness. She is also a genius as far as the shapes go and how multi purpose they are. I’ll be using the master face for buffing finishing powder and applying mineral foundation. Here they are pictured next to other brushes, from L to R are Wayne Goss 00, face pro, master face, designer pro, classic cheek, face 2, mini cheek, Goss airbrush. Totally worth the money in my opinion.

This was not what I had expected. I have an old Chanel brush that I loved and was hoping this would be a perfect replacement. This was a lot smaller than I expected. It also was like needles on my face. These are supposed to be uncut hairs but when I put this brush to my face, it was like a bunch of needles on my face. I am noticing a lot of shedding. Total pass. The only reason why I gave it 3 stars is for the handle.

I LOVE this brush! True, it is not the softest brush. That doesn’t bother me. I have a Silver Fox brush that is so soft. Therefore, I would never use that Fox brush for how I use this brush. I find that the stiffness of the Master Face is why I like it so much. Because it is blended between the two goat hairs it makes the brush bounce back nicely. I was originally going to use it as a blush brush however, I have been using it to apply my powder bronzer on my forehead, cheekbones and jaw line. Personally I have not found a perfect Blush brush (for my liking) from Sonya G yet. I have almost all the brushes, and prefer her brand over most, but I use each one differently. I would very much like to have another one of these as I would use one for my powder bronzer and one for dusting or even blush. It does sound a little indulgent as this is an $85 brush. But, sometimes you need to give yourself a treat. I love the size as well! Perfect for me. I do have a smaller face.

I need another one!!! I love using this for my bronzer and also for my blush. I feel like I could use it for my powder too. It’s just my all around favorite brush hands down! You will not be disappointed. I do have a smaller face it that helps. It fits my forehead and cheeks perfectly. I have had no shedding and I find this brush very very soft. Definitely confused by the other rating.
