Lotus Set

This set is flawless art. The Lotus Base is so fun! Very gentle, flawless application. I can even get into the corner of my eye when I tip the brush. I am a little awkward using this as it is not a typical shape I would use. Glad I tried it. I can still stipple when I want. I like how short and tight the bristles are yet does not soak up all the product. My usual is to buff out w/ a powder at the end as I am heavy handed w/ the blush and bronzer. When I had finished my makeup I went to buff and realized, I didn't need to. I can do a whole face w/ this set if I want. Nice to be able to grab and go somewhere w/ out worrying if I have all I need. This one is good.

This is my first Sonia G. Brush set or any luxury brush set. I have mostly Sigma brushes which I still prefer for every day use due to not being worried about staining them. These brushes are everything I hoped they would be and more ! Sooo deliciously soft to the touch and blend makeup so beautifully!

This is my 1st Sonia G. purchase and I have immediately fallen in love!! Each brush works fantastic and I am very happy with my purchase. The base brush is by far my favorite!

I think that the 5 star ratings here a bit inflated for at least half the set. The eye set is amazing, but the face portion is not as good as people make it out to be. The white brush for the face is very small for bronzing so I guess it's good for people who like very precise bronzer but it doesn't diffuse as well as rephr 5. I washed it again & it bloomed some more but its not ideal for bronzing for me. The little angled brush is not soft like a lotus flower gliding over your face, it has a rough quality when buffing quite like many other goat hair bristle brushes. It works equivalent to rephr 4 & they are the same softness. The lotus base I thought was going to be amazing but its ended up scratchy & stabby where it's painful for me to use, so it's a let down. I was told this was due to either the synthetic bristles in the blend(not sure though as my IT #7 is beautifully soft) or the cleanser I used to wash (which was the same for all brushes ie baby shampoo). It works well for foundation (equal to IT #7). I wish this set was sold individually and I would 100% buy two of the eyes. The best eye brush is the one not available individually which is the little tapered one (soft definer) it is a standout. Same with lotus worker. Also wish more brushes came in this colorway as they are beautiful. I would not recommend this as a beginner set. Id recommend it to collectors who do not have sensitive skin who like very small face brushes. Or if you buy brushes for the design, these are very nice looking.

Not technically my first fude from Sonia G. (I had a fan brush from her a while back and I thought it was just okay). But she blew me out of the water with this set. I debated whether I wanted to invest in the set, or not because my previous experience was so underwhelming. And frankly, the colors looked a bit tacky to me. I finally decided on buying it because YouTubers were gushing over them and it’s limited edition so I didn’t want to miss out. I was so impressed after just one use that I went a little nuts and bought a bunch of other brushes from Sonia, including the fusion set. And I was very wrong about the colors - the set looks very elegant and feminine in person. The details and the craftsmanship are extraordinary! Now I’m mentally kicking myself for not getting her brushes sooner and getting my hands on the bigger face brushes when I had the chance. I’m counting down the days till they get restocked again…

Wow seeing them on Beautylish or YouTube does not do these justice, they are so beautiful in person!! The brushes are so soft and easy to work with, the eyeshadow brushes are easy to use and place or blend like a dream!! The bristles on the base brush are shorter than I thought but it works…. The blush brush just applies product so perfectly. The slanted highlight brush applies just the right amount and blends it so well it makes it melt into the skin. I’m so happy I purchased these brushes, I love pink and purple and these brushes are the right amount of each colour. This is her most stunning brushes yet! I hoped for these colours and Sonia G delivered the very best quality as always, Sonia you have outdone yourself, you should be proud!! Breathtakingly Beautiful!! Thank you.

These brushes are so esthetically pleasing (full disclosure purple is my favorite color so I am biased Haahaa). The craftsmanship is the same quality as her core line, the handles are tapered like her more recent releases and feel wonderful in the hand. I have not quite figured out how to use the Base Fan brush yet as it is quite dense and I prefer not to use natural hair for my base products. I think I will try it for contour/bronzer application. The cheek brush (which is just an undyed version of her Cheek Pro) is wonderful for blush (I have a smaller face/features so I prefer smaller brushes), and I actually like it better than the Cheek Pro as I feel it has a little more give and blends softer than the dyed version. The Face Detail brush is literal perfection for pigmented blushes as it is very airy but still has enough body due to the goat hair to really blend out product (something that I struggle with when I use squirrel hair brushes). I love the size and shape of the brush for precise blush placement, I hope she offers this one separately at some point because I would love another one :) The Worker in this set seems to be a bit more airy than the worker 2 from her original line (probably due to the fact it is undyed vs. dyed), I have been enjoying it as a one-and-done brush for a simple eye look - it is fluffy enough to blend out the crease and still dense enough to pack pigment on the lids. The builder in this set is an undyed version of the Builder Three from her OG line which is my favorite packing brush and lower lash line brush at the moment so I am happy to have another one. Lastly the Soft Definer brush, I was expecting to love this for lower lash line shadow, but it has a little too much movement for me to be precise with (again I have smaller eyes so I need precision), however what I do love it for is blending out the lower lash line, almost like a crease brush for the lower lash line. Very soft, very flexible and a dream to use. Love everything about this set & hoping she will release the brushes individually & also come out with more brushes in this color way, it is so beautiful!!

THIS brush set was made for me! My favorite color is purple and these are ABSOLUTELY stunning and as soft as soft can be! I love ALL of the brushes I have from Sonia G! I don't have them all yet, but I will! Definitely worth it!!! Sonia G brushes NEVER disappoint!! Just as a side note, Beautylish doesn't disappoint either!!

So good, I bought another set! Aesthetically, they are very beautiful - nicer than they look online. The new shapes are great and I really enjoy Sonia’s well thought out use of fibres. Would definitely recommend!

I’m obsessed with these brushes. I have both the Fusion series and this set, with proper care these bushes will last forever.
