Face Pro

This face brush is very well made. The Japanese artists are extremely talented. The handle is a perfect weight. Beautifully made. I just got them And washed them and it still smells like goat and o hope that dissipates. I knocked one point off because I posted I didn’t like her eye brushes and she blocked me off instagrams and I thought that wasn’t very mature. I don’t like the eye brushes. They are too stiff.

In my opinion the Face Pro is my favorite out of the Pro Face Set and I got 2 more!! It’s awesome to apply bronzer with especially if you have imperfections concealed in the cheek area. You can just stipple it without disrupting your perfectly concealed base and gives you a nice diffused bronze. The brush size is perfect to hug just around and under the cheekbone area and also the corner of the forehead, as well as taking it down the neck. The size of this brush is very close to the Hakuhodo S531 brush but the Hakuhodo is in all white, which shows color on the bristles after one use (if that's something you care about) but the salt and pepper look on the Face Pro doesn't have this issue. Also, the Face Pro more affordable, even when compares to the J531 which is the least expensive version Hakuhodo offers. and I think the softness is all very comparable. This is definitely a great winner for a quick all over quick bronzing effect.

For size comparison, i set the brush beside the chikuhodo fo1, mk-2, and hakuhodo s104 brush. The brush color looks alot like the fo1 and almost... ALMOST has the same velvety feel on the face. I love this brush as it could do almost everything. I could travel with just this brush and ill be good. Use it for setting, buffing, bronzing, and even for blusher! I am so in love with this brush!

I literally just received these in the mail and immediately did a full face of makeup. These apply makeup as if it was magically put on by a fairy. After finishing my makeup I came back on here and ordered doubles of the face pro,cheek pro and detail pro. These 3 are just so multifunctional and beautiful must haves! If not doubles....triples? Lol you need at least 1!

Absolute perfection as a bronzing brush and so well made. The brush picks up just the right amount of product and is the perfect size to bronze and lightly contour my small face. It is so soft on the face and still picks up a fair amount of product and has enough texture to blend out product seamlessly. It is a very special brush in my collection for sure.

I freaking love this brush so much. Soft highly pigmented bronzers, not a problem with this brush.... think of the Natasha Tan bronze palette....much love but can be tricky for us fairer skin girls, not with this brush. I’m not going to go in to specifics as I can’t say anything different from other reviews, just know this brush is unique and something special.

I’ve tried brushes from almost all of the top Japanese artisan brushes and I have to say so far these are my favorite even ahead of Wayne Goss (which I also love and admire). Her face brushes really are something special. The craftsmanship is gorgeous and it’s the softest goat hair I’ve ever felt, soft enough for the most sensitive faces. They get better and softer with every wash. I just ordered 3 of the sky face brushes and I can’t wait for them to arrive. Totally worth the money as they will last forever with proper care. This brush in particular is amazing for all over powdering or bronzer, even blush. It’s pretty air and fluffy and soft enough to even use for buffing. Amazing multipurpose brush, if you could only get 1 I’d vote for this one.

Firstly I should say, I own about a dozen or so of this type of handmade, natural hair brushes .(Fude,if you will:) but I have never experienced anything like this Face Pro brush. Unfortunately I cannot compare it to anything from my collection but I can tell you my experience with it. Heavenly. Luxury. A true piece of art. This guy is like a cloud, graciously sweeping against your skin. It is an experience all on it's own. It almost tickles the skin it is so soft. It's a large brush. Its larger than I had expected, even after looking at photos. It fits PERFECTLY into the hollows of the cheek. Contouring my chin is no longer a chore as this brush picks up ANY product easily and lays it down beautifully, and quickly given it's size. Before, I would struggle to get things like my hourglass ambient palettes to work for me (How I wanted anyways!) So I will say it's a miracle worker on top of everything else. The size,softness,density,performance, EVERYTHING about this brush makes it one of,if not, the best brush I own. I use this for contour,blush or bronzing but as with all of Sonia's brushes you could use it in any way you wanted and I am certain you would be happy with how it performs. You can likely tell, I am a HUGE fan of this brush and think it is worth every single penny. I definitely recommend it. If you're on the fence about it I would say just buy it. Not one bad thing I could say about this brush. Thank you Sonia for continually providing us with the best of the best!!!

This is a very long overdue review...I waited over a year for this brush to come back in stock and it was well worth the wait. I am working my way through Sonia's brushes and this one is probably my favorite of all her brushes. Her sculpt one use to be my favorite for bronzing but I am constantly reaching for this one instead. It's soft and hasn't shed. Worth every cent, in my opinion.

I love this brush so much I’m buying a back up once it comes in again. That’s Love!! I don’t wanna be without this brush ever!!!
