Serene Scalp Anti-Dandruff Shampoo

I don't have a dandruff problem, but my scalp is very sensitive and is prone to itchiness (ie: it was always super itchy, even right after washing my hair) which led to lesions and more irritation. I had that issue for years. I tried multiple non SLS shampoo, no-poo method, cleansing conditioner, etc. Nothing was able to soothe my scalp the way Oribe Serene Scalp Anti-Dandruff Shampoo did. It's very expensive, but a small quantity seems to go a long way. It does contain perfume so it might not be for everyone, but for me, it's now HG and I will repurchase for sure.

My scalp has never felt better. I suffer from an extremely dry, sensitive scalp. I have struggled for years to find products that don't weigh my hair down, or strip it of all the natural oils. I saw this shampoo, and thought I would give it a try. My hair looks fantastic and my scalp loves it.

I really think this is a great shampoo. It has helped me a ton. Is it a miracle worker? Not quite. But it’s bettered the amount of dandruff I have, relieve a lot of the discomfort, and helped with hair loss. I’d recommend it if you have scalp issues, but if you have severe dermatitis or something more serious, I’d use it in tandem with your prescription shampoo or a treatment rinse. i have a slightly itchy scalp and minor dandruff however this made my situation worse unfortunately.

Literally the best shampoo I've ever used. I have struggled with Dandruff and Dry itchy scalp my entire life and have tried everything. I used this product once and immediately the itching went away and my hair felt soft and smooth. Way less coarse than usual!

I would also HIGHLY recommend the conditioner! Soothes the scalp without making it overly oily. Love it!!

It might be a bit of an exaggeration, but I have the biggest crush on Oribe hair products! The smell, the feel, the formulas, and to be honest, I've never had much success with luxury hair products until I found Oribe!

Being a curly headed girl (3A curl pattern) I tend to be extra picky with what I use and when I wash my hair, so I was super excited to hear that Oribe was coming out with a line that targets your scalp. During the winter season, my scalp got pretty itchy and was constantly flaking, so it was a no brainer when I found this shampoo and decided to give this line a chance!

Now, a little more background on my hair, I have bleached hair and my curls tend to get quite dry. So, I'll honest and say that my biggest fear with this product was that it would dry out my hair (specifically my ends) but I have been currently using this shampoo at least once a week for the past 2 months and have seen really positive results and get this, IT HAS NOT DRIED OUT MY ENDS!

Now, that being said, I do follow this shampoo with a deeply hydrating conditioner to ensure that I am sealing all of the goodness of this shampoo, and follow up with a leave-in conditioner. Yet again, Oribe has come to my rescue and since adding this shampoo into my routine I have been able to maintain my scalp healthy, and have kissed goodbye to flaking and itching.

So if you are suffering from a case of the blues and your scalp needs some extra TLC, don't look further than this new addition to the Oribe family!

I was super excited to try Oribe products but this shampoo did not work out for me. At all. On paper, this shampoo sounds like just the ticket for me. It did not live up to expectations. In fact, it made my scalp issues even worse! Yep, worse! I persisted with it for several weeks (in hindsight, I should have initiated a return instead) and the result? My scalp was even itchier, my dandruff problem worse and my hair was like straw. Awful! It’s not at all worth the price (which is on the higher side, for sure) and I’m hesitant to pass it on to someone else. I’d definitely recommend trying a sample before splurging on this! Definitely not for someone with scalp issues.

This may have been great for my dry scalp, but it didn't get my hair clean. My hair felt gross all day.
