Face Glow Primer Hydrating Underbase

I have dry, aging skin, in my mid 30s and this is one of the best hydrating face primer I've used in a LONG time. Not only is this primer soothing, and calming, it also hydrates your faces all day, without leaving dry patches or a greasy film. The consistency is on the thicker side, not heavy, just a hearty texture that your skin will soak up. It won't clog pores or feel heavy, that's the magic of this product. You will love it, its the perfect base to start off your 'glowing' regime.

This is probably my favourite product of the line. I have dry skin and this is one of the best hydrating primers that I came across. It reminds me a bit of Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream but WAYY more affordable. It has a thick consistency as magic cream but it absorbs instantly leaving the skin very healthy and glowy. I also suffer from redness and sensitivity and that seems to reduced the redness giving me an even skin. I could see this becoming the star of the Natasha Denona line. I have normal to dry skin, and have never liked the super slippery standard that has become foundation primers. Even though Hydrating Underbase contains silicone (cyclopentasiloxane), it does not feel greasy at all, and adheres with foundations beautifully, giving a long lasting wear. The only downside is the packaging. I wish it came in a different delivery so as not to harbor bacteria so easily.

This would be it! AMAZING! I used each of her steps on my face to get this beautiful glow... my skin is super dry and flakey and this covers it and hydrates it all day. I also do not get a greasy t zone! miracle! Her line along with charlotte tilburys has cleared up my skin! love love love!

So back to this product. i have sensitive dry skin and during winter it gives up on me. i tend to have dry patches in the afternoon no matter what foundation i wear. But so far this primer gives a decent moisture to my skin yet it is not greasy, my makeup is still perfectly on after 10hrs so im pretty impressed. i also like the texture of it a lot, it is not like all the other primers i have tried before, it is quite thick yet it becomes quite light once applied on skin. it also gives a subtle glow. i am very happy with this product.

This primer is super thick! I think the best way to describe it would be that it's like a thicker version of the hourglass mineral primer (if you've tried that before). It is hydrating, and absorbs super fast into the skin. I like that I can use it as a primer and moisturizer in the morning before my foundation application.

This definitely feels hydrating on the skin, and it absorbs nicely never leaving the skin feeling greasy or sticky. However, I didn't see any improvement in the appearance or longevity of the products I applied over top of it, and for me that makes this ineffective as a primer. I could easily get the same effect from a skincare product like a serum with more additional skincare benefits built in. In my opinion, if a product is going to call itself a primer, it should make a visible difference in the way your makeup applies.

This is an incredible product. It has a bouncy type feel that is so incredibly smooth and hydrating. It's the skins secret ingredient. Make up applies flawlessly. Even for my combo/oily type skin, I almost feel like it controls my oils. I am tempted to use this as my moisture cream permanently....I seriously love this. And I use this on top of my sunscreen for daytime use!! As someone who needs make up perfection this says a lot. Plus it meets my spin class sweat test.

This primer is extremely hydrating. You can tell as you squeeze it out that it has incredible hydrating abilities. It leaves the skin feeling cooled and refreshed, so it’s absolutely perfect to use just on its own or under foundation! Even when used alone it provides a distinct but subtle glow.

This primer is amazing. It looked like a face moisturizer when I opened it so I was underwhelmed but it really feels like a splash of water on your face when you rub it in. It leaves a slightly tacky feel (not uncomfortable) so I know my makeup can cling onto it well. My makeup does last and it just feels soooo good on the skin.

My only complaint is that the water separates from the product a lot. When I open the primer after not using for a while, I'll see puddles of water sitting on top of the product. So I dump it out before I use it and it's good to go. Still, annoying that it does that because that's part of the product! That's why I deducted one star.
