Cleansing Milk

I might lose my job for saying this but I am horrible at taking my makeup off at night. Whether it be putting in long hours working, binge watching on Netflix or just plain laziness, the bed always wins over the sink.

However, since starting with Mila's regimen, washing my face at night has become like a mini late night spa experience. The fragrance is very spa-like and the texture is - just like it says - milky. I put it onto dry skin, massage it in and take a warm muslin cloth to give a quick gentle steam before using the cloth to remove it. It's quick, luxurious and makes not only my skin feel way better after a long day but an overall good feeling, knowing that it's the essential step in making every other step of my regimen work to it's fullest.

Just a note, too - both the cleansing milk and the cleansing foam are for all skin types so it's just that much more amazing to have the milk right on the counter-top for night and the foam in the shower for the am.

This is a light cleansing milk that easily removes my makeup and does not strip my skin! Pleasant very light fragrance and very gentle. This is a hit with me❤️

When I fell in love with Mila's products(I discovered Mila Moursi on Beautylish) and found the perfect regimen for myself almost 3 years ago, I wanted to treat my wonderful mom to her own! Hands down the products in my regimen have changed my skin from the inside out(solved my skin concerns pores, texture, evenness) and my skin continues to look more youthful and even healthier every day. The team at Mila Moursi were kind enough to recommend a regimen for her, and since her skin is much more normal to dry(compared to my combination/combo to oily) they recommended the Cleansing Milk. She absolutely loves this product. Like all the products, she absolutely loves the sensorial experience. That's what is sets the products apart. They combine incredible actives with a beautiful sensorial experience(because of the ingredients) It is SO gentle yet cleanses SO wonderfully without stripping. It has been perfect for her skin. It leaves skin smooth and ready for the next step in treatment, which is your Mila Moursi Toner(my mom uses the Cleansing Toner) I normally use the Cleansing Foam because I do have combination skin that gets oily and that cleanser works beautifully and perfectly for my regimen(see review) Just in case you are looking for a comparison between the two, the Cleansing Foam also cleanses beautifully with a lovely sensorial experience, never strips, balances and leaves your skin soft and smooth. The difference is that you use the Cleansing Foam with water(it is a very soft soothing foam) like you would a normal cleanser. However, I have also tried The Cleansing Milk myself and I definitely agree with Alicia! Sometimes you do have nights where you are very tired, and the bed is going to want to win out over the skin for sure. The sensorial experience is so wonderful with the Cleansing Milk too-it is VERY soft soothing, and when applied and offers a gentle, great cleanse and removes makeup and debris beautifully and easily, leaving your skin soft and healthy, smooth, soft and of course never stripped. The Cleansing Milk is applied to the skin without water, and as you apply it and cleanse using a circular motion, you finish by removing it with a with a warm washcloth. That makes it lovely to use on tired nights for me. So in summary, even though the Cleansing Foam is the main cleanser in my regimen, I thoroughly enjoy the Cleansing Milk and highly recommend it-it never causes any breakouts or texture issues for me and it is gentle and highly effective.

Can I tell you that I love the word milk? Milk, cream, anything related to this dairy liquid I love. In a cleanser on the other hand, not something I normally gravitated towards because if anything, my combo skin will run a bit more oily than dry. This though, it really cleans my skin without stripping it or making it more dry or oily and just has a really light pleasant scent. I only need a few pumps and and it really does the job nicely, no breakouts or anything! Gentle yet effective, which I realize I need to stop using harsh cleansers that just pull everything from skin.

I'm always cautious when using cleansers because I hate that stripped feeling after I wash my face!! I have oily sensitive skin so I can't use just anything to clean it, BUT this cleansing milk is AMAZING! :) From the smell to the way it feels on my skin it's like a mini spa day in my bathroom, i'm in love <3

This cleansing milk has its pluses and minuses but overall - not a purchase I will make again.

The positives - Cleanses the skin gently; not drying or stripping. The negatives - strong perfume fragrance; I had to use quite a lot each use; expensive.

For this price, I expect more. Will use up but will not repurchase.
