Cleansing Foam

I tend to use cleansing water from Bioderma or Koh Gen Do to wash my face and remove makeup but sometimes long-lasting makeup puts up a battle and I need to break out additional reinforcements. This cleanser is light and silky to the touch and, when combined with water, creates the most beautiful foam for effortlessly removing stalwart makeup. My skin is left soft, balanced, comfortable and, best of all, clean...the Mila Moursi Cleansing Foam is perennially perched on my sink, ready to remove whatever comes its way!

I had been using Skinceuticals for quite some time now and there are some great products in that line, but the Mila line is phenomenal. I will be 46 next week and never have had real great skin. I have been using Mila's line for a week, and I am already noticing a huge difference in my skin. I have seriously never had radiant skin...I have large pores, prone to breakouts, acne scarring from my youth, but since using this skincare line. I have actually caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and have had to stop and take a look. I just look so much more refreshed and my skin has a glow to it.

Specific to this cleanser, this is the first cleanser I have used that actually removes all my makeup. Usually i get to the toner step and my cotton ball is full of makeup residue because my cleanser doesn't remove all the makeup. Now, my cotton ball has zero residue.

Very expensive product line, but so worth it.

Mila Moursi -- I heard the hype, read the reviews and took the plunge and purchase many of the products. I started with the cleansing milk, but it wasn't perfect with my clarisonic. The foam is amazing, gentle, removes even the most stubborn and resistant remnant of makeup with ease, leaving my skin thoroughly cleansed withou harsh or drying effects. Though this is focused on the cleansing foam, the Mila Moursi line has changed my skin -- friends and strangers asking what I am doing and my recommended facialist-- and it is Mila Moursi from Beautylish -- so hooked, I ordered backups of the foam, as well as other products. This comes from a faithful user of medical grade skin care products -- they work, but not like Mila Moursi!

I will try to keep this review specific to the product(you are welcome to read my others!) Mila's philosophy and products have been an absolute game changer for my skin. I am writing this several months into using them(not realizing I had not reviewed this product) -the potent (yet gentle) treatment powerhouses in concert with a full regimen have not only taken care of the skincare concerns I was hoping to address: (large pores/texture, uneven tone, and certainly anti-aging) my skin is looking more radiant and refreshed than ever. I have combination skin so I normally will use this cleanser once daily in the evening-not only to remove makeup but to get a beautiful thorough cleanse and a clean slate for the next steps to follow. It is THE best cleanser I have EVER tried-that is an understatement. Since I do experience oiliness in the t zone and around the jaw I used to opt for gel cleansers, but many would leave my skin tight and a bit dry. This cleanser is pure luxury. I apply a small amount to moistened skin, and it becomes a soft silky foam that really makes your skin feel wonderful. Sometimes, I will use the Omorovicza Mitt (with warm water of course) to remove if I feel my skin really needs it and then do a final rinse, but it's not a necessity) I do a splash of cool water after and my skin feels SO supple, soft and smooth, balanced and CLEAN. Then, I'm ready for my next steps in my regimen! I usually use the cleanser PM only and then I'll go on to use the PH Balancing Toner, the Refining Lotion(a PM only product), and the Dual Action Serum. Mornings, I will usually use Koh Gen Do's Cleansing Spa Water or Clothes, and do the PH Toner and then the Serum. If my skin is feeling a bit oilier Bottom Line: This is a gorgeous investment, as are all the products.

I am not excited about this cleanser. I was hoping for the reputation and the price that this was going to be amazing, but I find it very basic and it doesn't add anything to my regimen. It's a very thin foam, and it doesn't feel luxurious at all. It thins out into nothing on my skin and I cannot get a good massage going. I use it as a second cleanse so cannot say how it removes makeup - I don't need it for that. What disappoints me most is that it leaves my skin feeling tight. I have previously used the Omorovicza cleansing foam and I have to say I like that one much more. I'm sure Mila Moursi has many beautiful products, I do like her pH balancing toner, but this one is a total miss for me. I definitely would not purchase again, and am sad that I spent $70 on it!
