About Kakishibuzome Series Brush Set

This set of 6 brushes are made from "Saikoho" goat hair. The brush tips are dyed a dusk shade with a technique called "Kakishibuzome". "Kakishibu" is a natural dye that has been inherited from the Heian era. It has antibacterial properties which make it great for daily use.

Shiba Inu in a Brush

I purchased this set because it reminded me of my beloved Shiba Inu, Mochi. His fur was this color. These brushes feel very soft and silky and are well made and come in a wooden box with a satin pouch. I’m sure that they apply product well, but I don’t even care. I miss my dog. Sorry if that’s not helpful
