Cleansing Water

If I could have just one thing from this line, it would have to be the Spa Water. It has no oil or alcohol in it, yet it takes off your makeup as if it does! You don't even need to wash your face after using this. Just take off your makeup, and you can now add your moisturizers etc. This is something I use on set, or for brides. It is not harsh....but beautiful and a must have in my opinion!

I love to use the Spa Water in the morning to wake up my skin and prepare it for the day. I'll use the Koh Gen Do cotton or soak a cloth in it (the EVE LOM cloth works great) and then just lay it over my face for a few moments. I then move it to a new position and let it settle there for a few moments, pressing it gently into the curves of the face (never rubbing). It feels refreshing, helps wake me up, and makes my face feel alive. Its also a great prep for makeup.

I sort of love this. It's so effective and gentle. It has no smell (for those who are sensitive) and truly brightens my skin tone with prolonged use. The reason I "sort of" love this is because it's so expensive and it has a paraben in it. If it wasn't so expensive and didn't have the paraben, I would use only this for life. I've switched to Bioderma Sensibo and really like it, but would come back to this if it was cheaper and without the paraben.

I've been hearing rave reviews for this product as a makeup remover for quite some time now only to be greatly disappointed. It did not remove anymore makeup from my face than plain water would have and it didn't remove my mascara at all. On the bright side, it didn't irritate my skin or eyes. I can't say how well it would work as a toner, which it appears some customers buy it for, but as a makeup remover I can't recommend it.

I love this and It's my 3rd time repurchasing, I believe? I don't so much use it as a makeup remover (thought it does work for that, just not for anything heavy) rather I use it after using makeup remover before face care and then in the morning right after I wake up, instead of washing my face. This product is a perfect refresher if I'm not wearing makeup, or, because I live in Miami, am feeling overly humid. It lasts a really long time (I apply with Shishedo-sp?) cotton pads and I will only buy the pump version, it's the most convenient thing to have in your bathroom/vanity!

I have to compare the two in more depth, however they equally work as well. And the price opt is a little bit better I believe for the Koh Gen Do. They both feel like water, and leave your skin feeling clean and fresh. This is a must for all who were make up on a daily basis, its gentle on the skin and wont irritate. Just soak a cotton pad, dab face, allow to sit on make up on the skin, and then begin to remove with cotton pad. VOILA clean and soft.

I normally like to use a micellar water before I oil cleanse to get all the stubborn waterproof makeup off. After a glowing recommendation from Michelle Wang on her youtube channel, I decided to give it a try. It does a very good job removing the makeup, but my eyes are normally irritated and red for hours afterwards if I get even a little in them. I can use it on all of the non-eye makeup and it works great, but for mascara and eyeliner removal (the part I normally use these products on) is a no go. So sadly, this was not a success story for me.

I really like to use this right after I take my makeup off just to make sure that my skin is thoroughly cleaned. Also, I like to use it first thing in the morning. I don't really know if it is any better then Bioderma which is less expensive. I gave it 4 stars because it is definitely overpriced!

although I do like this product I find it no better then other cleansing waters like sephora triple action cleansing water. I thought I would give it a try and see if there was something I was missing out on, I have to use more of this product to remove my eye makeup then the less priced ones. It is very gentle on skin and I love the non oil as apposed to regular removers, but overall I will stick with my sephora brand (:
