Brightening Cleanser

I use 1 pump for my eye makeup and 2 for my face. I dampen a cotton round and pump once. The Cleanser comes out of the pump with force! I fold the cotton round over to spread the product a bit, open it back up and then clean one eye completely. I then fold the cotton round in half concealing the makeup covered side and clean the other eye. I clean my other eye without adding any more cleanser; there's enough suds coming through for even my waterproof makeup. Once my eye makeup is removed, I dampen my hands and face then apply 2 pumps of product to my cupped fingers. I do not hold water in my cupped hands, I only want damp skin. Quickly I rub my hands together to distribute the product and then apply it to my face. Using my finger tips, I massage it all over my face for about 1 minute and then use my Clarisonic to finish. I find this method of using my Clarisonic last, works best. When I was adding the cleanser to the bristles on the Clarisonic, it was if the cleanser was getting 'lost' and my skin was not completely clean.

The brown plastic vessel has a pump top that pumps with some force. You are going to want to make sure that the nozzle is always clean and free of dried Cleanser; if it is clogged in the slightest way it will shoot cleanser in multiple directions. It's ended up on my face, on my shirt, on the mirror... Retailing for $24 on Beauty Army, you can quickly see why this is a coveted 5 star favourite of mine. I will absolutely rebuy this cleanser. It is simply amazing. How much so? I told Lindsey, the founder of Beauty Army, that I wish I could wash my face twice, back to back.... Just so I could relive the experience!

My experience with organic/green products hasn't been great. They either smell funny, make my face burn, or just plain don't work. Especially cleansers, which never seem to really get all of my make up off. So when a new brand pops up, starts getting some attention and hype, I get a little skeptical. This product had been getting such good feedback and the ingredients list was so lovely, I had to try it. Wowie zowie. It gets all my make up off and my face doesn't feel tight, dry, flakey or burn-ey. And while the scent is delicious, it isn't overly perfumed; you can tell(by the smell or the fact that strawberry oil is actually in it) that the scent it does have is natural. In fact, that may be a draw back. I used it in the morning before breakfast and I was SO hungry afterward. ;) I use it in the evening w/ my Clarisonic and in the morning with my hands and it performs really well with both -- and a little goes a long way! The instructions suggest using a cotton ball/pad, but I found the product didn't distribute as well that way. In any case, fantastic cleanser.

Have you ever smelled a ripe box of strawberries? That fresh-from-the orchard, clean yet fruity aroma that doesn't overpower your senses with sugar? Mmmm, I never thought I'd love sniffing a cleanser, but Indie's is the exception. The gel formula has a handful of ingredients, including strawberry oil—which I didn't know even existed until seeing it written on the bottle.

Scent-sation aside, it's a great cleanser for those with normal or sensitive skin (I am of the latter camp). I pump it twice onto my Clarisonic brush and swirl away. Little to no sudsing (that's good!), and my skin feels clean and refreshed without that tight effect many gel-based formulas seem to produce. I wouldn't count on this sucker to take off eye makeup (I leave that to cleansing oils), but it's a staple basic to have on hand.

And that scent.

This is my first time with organic products.. but not with cleansers! The texture of this is so different and interesting - it's a gel type consistency like that of Lush's Grease Lightning. It didn't sink into my cotton ball, just sat on a layer on the top. But one swipe and my eye make up was gone!

The smell is amazing and sweet, and I do not need a follow up make-up wipe to clean more residue off my skin. It get's it all! I was so lucky to win Beautylish Indie Lee giveaway and try this. I will be repurchasing it when I run out.

I am in love with this cleanser! I have fairly dry and sensitive skin and this cleanser worked wonderfully for me. This is recommended to be used with a clairisonic but I do not use one so I just used my hands and I love the result. I find that this cleanser if just as effective with just using your hands. I also love that after I wash my face with this cleanser, my skin is left supple and never feeling tight or dry. The packaging for this cleanser is also amazing! The container is glass and its very sleek and stylish. The smell is another bonus point. It smells like sweet strawberries but it is not overpowering. Bottom line: buy this cleanser.

Loving the discovery of this line very thought out and wonderful packaging! The formula gives a little foaming but not too much cleans without tightness of the skin. my only downside is the bottle is not travel friendly so have a travel container ready :)

I love using this as my nighttime cleanser! I have acne prone skin with eczema and it does not irritate me unless my AD is active (but this won't flare it up). You can even use it in conjunction with a retinol serum. I wear mountains of makeup and this completely and effortlessly removes it. I love that it's so economical while being of such good quality. It doesn't break me out at all. I leave it on my skin for 5-7 min for gentle exfoliation when it's needed. I turned my mom into it and now she's obsessed too! It's appropriate for all skin types. A great universal cleanser and makeup remover!

I've actually received compliments on my skin for the first time after using this product. I'm not saying that this is the universal cleanser for ALL skin types. Let's be realistic haha. But if your skin is anything like mine (combination), then this works fabulously and has a delightful texture and smell. Wakes me up every morning. :)

I have used this 2 nights in a row now and so far I love it. It cleanses my skin well, I have no makeup residue left and it is light and smells good. I believe I will add this to my permanent cleaning regimen.
