Equilibrium Biomimetic Skin Active Serum

My mother and I tried this product for six weeks just so we could compare the changes. My mother religiously applied this every night and I was not as committed so I would say I used this 2-3 nights a week during the six weeks.

This serum took my skin from average everyday Alexis skin (dry, dull and blemished) to Super Alexis! It was such an invigorating experience watching my skin transform throughout the cell turnover process. I wasn’t looking dull and tired which actually upsets me a little because now I’m trying to imagine what it may have been like had I used it daily, as my mom did.

My mom’s results? Let’s just say it was a face lift in a bottle for her (and those are my mom’s words!). She mostly appreciated how gentle and firming this serum is.

My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed this product and if you’re wondering if there was any leftover product after our six weeks, yes there was plenty, a little over half the bottle.

Side note: This isn’t an instant miracle serum. This product works throughout your skin’s cellular renewal process which takes about 45 days to complete. Stick with it and you will see results.

I had high hopes and expectations upon purchasing this. I read a few five star reviews and my skincare junkie self couldn't help herself. I have only used it a few times so far, but I am so impressed. I have tried a lot of product, and if these results stay true I will have a new addition to my top 3 favorite skincare products. This did a amazing job for skin healing. I have combo leaning oily skin type. With this you only need a very small amount. It has calmed redness, provided hydration, and wound healing so far. I will update this review in a few more weeks after more use. As of now I would suggest this to anyone with sensitive, acne prone, and or wanting to treat fine lines.

I've been using this for about 2 months and find no discernible difference to my skin, except the introduction of a few, daily whiteheads on my chin and nose - something I've not encountered in my 40+ years. They are easily dispatched, but suggest something is not quite right about the product on my skin. I have neither oily nor dry skin (sometimes called "normal") and minimal signs of aging, which is a result of a lifetime of sun avoidance and genetics. I hoped this would smooth the appearance of some light texture issues where my cheeks transition to my lips and some slight unevenness of tone, but I really see nothing. I've been using it in conjunction with my regular skincare and the HG Equilibrium SPF, in the daytime. Perhaps this isn't for my skin type/concerns. I don't know what the science is, especially in justifying this price point, so it's on me for lack of research. 3 stars because the product is hydrating and has a nice slip and feel when applied. I assume it would be more appreciated on drier skins or skins with deeper concerns than mine.
