Ambient Lighting Bronzer

I LOVE bronzers! They are my thing and one is never enough, or two of three. Even though I love bronzers, I am picky. I don't like shimmer or glitter on my skin- I prefer a matte formula. I also like a light\medium tone with no red or orange.

The bronzers I own are Stila, Tom Ford (my least fave!), Chanel Soleil...,Cover FX, Charlotte Tilbury,IT and a Bare Minerals. I have heard people rave about Hourglass bronzers but I was too afraid they would be have a lot of shimmer. I should have purchased sooner!!

If you are like me and are worried about too much shimmer, don't be. This bronzer is STUNNING. It does have a sheen or a glow, but I detect no shimmer. I like to wear this over my Chanel Soleil cream bronzer. The two are a perfect match. I have worn alone as well.

Believe the hype- it is real!

***One caveat: I wish that I would have purchased this in store BECAUSE I received a bronzer with lots of the light co!or and not enough brown. I would like to have chosen the one I purchased. I love Beauty!ish, and almost all my bronzer purchases are from them, but this is something I recommend buying in person, if possible. I only use half the pan which is a bummer.

This bronzer is really pretty but it didn’t bronze me. I saw a little glow and it’s a shimmer bronzer. I saw glitter on my face, it didn’t enhance any texture so that was good. The bronzer is the same shade as my skin. I’ll use it as a face powder because I don’t want to go through the hassle of returning it. It was a waste of $50 for me.

I don't bronze my face a whole lot because I never really knew how to do it properly and how to make it look good without making it look muddy. But this bronzer is amazing! it is super easy to blend out and it just gives you a healthy glow. it doesnt look like your wearing any product... its as if your glowing within. I absolutely love it and its so easy to use, Only downer is that its pretty expensive but I think its worth it.

I am medium tan with neutral undertones and I absolutely loved this bronzer I don’t know why I haven’t tried this before! I love the shade it’s perfect for my skin tone and it’s just perfect for everyday and super easy to blend!!

After purchasing several Hourglass products without disappointment I went for this. It gives such a perfect natural bronze glow and it looks good for a minimal or a full glam look. Only complaint is that much like the Ambient Lighting Powder- This does showcase my dry skin a little more than a creamier product would. Obviously it being powder I’m not shocked or surprised by that but worth mentioning!

Perfect color for spring...nice and sheer and is buildable for that summer color.Perfect for women of a certain age that still want to look up to date but not like you are wearing your granddaughters makeup. Sheer, soft and yet so adaptable. Ladies if you are over 50 DO NOT BE AFRAID to TRY THIS!!! I have NEVER used anything that equals this product!

The product description indicates this is a bronzer that fuses the illuminating effects of Photoluminescent Technology with bronze pigments to deliver a natural, sun-kissed glow while exhibiting depth and dimension. It is supposed to be for all skin types. This bronzer is one of the best on the market currently. I have the Nude Bronze Light (best for light to medium skin tones/no glitter or shimmer). I keep this in my every day rotation along with 2 others that I absolutely love. It provides a natural glow with the slightest sheen so appears really natural on the skin. I find that you can build this up if you want a more intense bronze without it looking muddy. If you have fairer/lighter skin tones, you can use this for a soft contour as well. Who doesn't love a product that can serve dual purposes?!?!

I also tried the the shade Diffused Bronze Light. This one has the diffused light powder mixed in and it does provide a very nice, luminous bronze best for light to medium skin tones. I do prefer the Nude Bronze light as I find it more natural and a better shade for my skin tone.

I would absolutely recommend this product. It is pricey but the large pans will last you for a long time. I believe you can buy the minis in some shades if you are looking to try it out but don't want to drop the big bucks just yet.

I used the shade Luminous Bronze Light from the shade range and find that it gives a very natural bronzed look on my NC 20/25 skin tone. The finish has a subtle radiance to it and a very skin-like texture. While some bronzers can turn out patchy on me even with lots of blending, this one just blends out effortlessly with my Wayne Goss 00 brush. While this shade gives me a very natural look, I would be interested in trying Radiant Bronze Light as it is just one shade deeper than this one. I’m so impressed by how seamless this bronzer is since I will sometimes experience a harsh line under my cheek bones with other bronzers. With this one, the border between the bronzer and the skin is completely undetectable.While the shade is suggested to be luminous, I certainly do not find it overly so as the effects with these powders are just so subtle and natural. I will be sure to try more Hourglass powder products after seeing how this bronzer does not cling on to any dryness on the skin whatsoever!

I love hourglass powders and own many of them. This bronzer would have potential to be an absolute favorite, but I really wish hourglass had a better system for controlling how much of each color ends up in each compact. I received a “bronzer” that has much more of the ambient lighting powder than the bronzer color- making it really ineffective as a bronzer, even on my light skin tone. Their blushes often have the same problem-more quality control is needed from this brand.

Second H.G bronzer I have tried. I'm in love. Have never used a bronzer as magnificent as the diffused bronzer.
