Soft and hydrating.
I love this oil. I've been using this day and night. During the day, I apply it as the last step in my routine to really lock in moisture. It has no scent. It absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn't feel greasy at all, meaning it layers beautifully under makeup. At night, I love mixing it with some of the other oils that Good Molecules offers. It's been leaving my skin glowing and soft. I just love the texture!

I initially wrote about the Rosehip Seed Oil in November '19 when reviewing the Face Oil Set and praised the Squalane and Ultra-Hydrating oils (I've been a huge fan of both ever since initially trying them in the Super Seven set I purchased the previous August), but mentioned in that review (which I have now positive a more positive update to as well) that at the time I wasn't too pleased with the Rosehip Seed Oil because of a fishy-type scent that just wouldn't go away and could smell all over - in my hair, in my pillow, in everything. Beautylish's fabulous staff reached out to me about the issue and wound up sending me a second bottle to try with the thoughts that maybe I'd just gotten a bad batch bottle.
Thrilled to report that the replacement bottle of the Rose Hip oil turned out to be MUCH better and I indeed must have just lucked out getting a bad bottle the first time! I'm still observing a VERY faint bit of scent with the new bottle of Rosehip oil, but it's more of a plant-based smell than the "fishy" smell I'd gotten from the first bottle - a major improvement from my first experience with the Rosehip oil! Very happy now + it feels really good on my face!
I've been using it + the Squalane in the a.m. and the Squalane + Ultra-Hydrating in the p.m. and been very pleased, although to be honest since I don't have much of a problem with dry skin on my face and my face leans towards oily but not really, when the current bottles are done (I'm now on my second bottles of Squalane + Ultra-Hydrating as well) I'm not sure that I'm going to proceed with using all three daily because I'm not really sure I need all that much in my routine, especially now that I've been trying out Good Molecules' new moisturizer as well, so I'm not sure I'm going to continue with the Rosehip Seed Oil - not because it's not good because the replacement bottle I got is definitely just fine + nothing wrong with it, I just feel for me personally 1-2 oils in my daily routine is really all I likely need personally.
And like the entire Good Molecules line, it layers wonderfully under makeup and there's no pilling at all.
I *do* think the Rosehip Seed Oil will likely work especially well for those who have a lot of problems with dry skin (I don't) and/or need a *lot* of hydration daily. If you have a lot of dry skin/aging problems, definitely this is worth a try! For me personally I'm more of a "less is more" and I feel like using all the oils + the new GM moisturizer is just too much for me personally, so I'm paring down to what I feel suits my not-that-dry skin best.
Also I can't say enough good about the fab Beautylish team - I didn't reach out to them about a refund or replacement for the initial bottle of Rosehip oil since it was part of a set (per their terms of service), but they reached out to me anyway and made it right - big A+++ there and really wowed me that they were willing to work with me on the issue + made what was an initially disappointing situation a fantastic experience! Thanks Beautylish, y'all are awesome + now have a customer for life! :-)

Such a light and hydrating oil. When I don't use it in my routine I notice a sad difference in my skin. It's not sticky or heavy and you get an instant glow. I got my mom hooked too.

I have combo/acne prone skin and this oil works with my skin beautifully. It’s help fade my acne scars and makes my skin feel so nourished and plump. I use it every morning and night. Noticed a huge difference in the parts of my skin that were overly oily as well, my akin has become way more balanced! Everyone needs to try this!

We all know and love the benefits and skin-feel of rosehip seed oil but the smell is something to get used to, especially if you thought it would smell like roses (me the first time I bought some)! This one doesn't have a very noticeable scent and the it absorbs much faster than some others I have tried!
My favorite part is the velvety skin finish it leaves me with! I have dry, dehydrated skin so it's a treat to have my cheeks feel so smooth after pressing this in.
Pro tip - because it's so dense, do press it into your skin rather than rubbing it.
The only change I would make would be having a longer tip on the cap - it's hard to hold without long nails!

I have oily and combination skin, and I rarely write reviews about the products I've been trying out.But this is AMAZING!Compared with some other brands such as The Ordinary,The inkey list or Pai,this rosehip seed oil is much more comfortable for me:not sticky but hydrated instantly.Especially I had a laser surgery recently,it doesn't cause any irritation. However, the smell is called"disgusting":just like a roasted wood or something.

I recently got almost the entire Good Molecules skincare line to try due to how affordable it was. Many influencers have been raving about the pineapple exfoliating cleanser, so I decided to try several things. While I’m not sure about some of the other products I’ve been using, I can say with absolute certainty that the Rosehip oil is a game changer. I have dryer skin, and this stuff makes my skin feel smooth and baby soft. When it first goes on, it smells light and fresh (no fragrances added, just the natural scent of rose). In less than the time it takes me to brush my teeth, this oil sinks into the skin, firms it up, and makes my face glowy and radiant. It isn’t too heavy, it doesn’t come off on my pillow, and my skin looks even better when I wake up the next morning! I do have large pores and acne-prone skin, and this does not break me out or clog my pores— it just leaves me smooth and soft. Before finding this $10 oil, I was a diehard fan of the True Botanicals face Oil, which is $110 dollars. I’ve tried a lot of other oils to try and find a doupe, and this is by far the closest I’ve found, and the least expensive! Also to note, the bottles are heavy glass, and even though the price doesn’t reflect it, the products all feel like a luxury brand would. If you are someone who likes bougie packaging, you will be pleasantly surprised by Good Molecules.
