Discoloration Correcting Serum

Okay, let's talk about dark spots. No one wants them & yet many suffer from them. I have some acne scars & some dark spots from various medical induced rashes. So, I decided to try this product out. I love Good Molecules products & figured this would be good also. It is😲😀. First, you must be patient & consistent. However, after about 3 weeks I am noticing a difference. I have a dark patch that is starting to break up & another acne scar is fading. I love this product. It is gentle, does not cause stinging, redness or itching. Like I said, it does take time, but this product really works & is budget friendly. What more can a Lady ask for 🤔? I highly recommend this product. Cheers 😉 🌷

I find this to be a gentle yet effective product to target discoloration in the skin. Tranexamic acid has been shown in studies to help with signs of photoaging as well as hyper-pigmentation, which includes sun damage, age spots, and acne scarring. For me personally, this has helped fade sunspots I have acquired during the early 2000’s when having a tan was all the rage. I have also seen an improvement with my acne scarring, or more specifically, the red spots left over when the break out is gone. I have to admit that it has taken a month to see results but even hydroquinone will take that long for results to be visible. The same study I mentioned earlier has shown that tranexamic acid is as effective as hydroquinone in a 3% concentration against clinical signs of photoaging in a 12-week period. At that concentration, hydroquinone is a prescription ingredient that targets skin discoloration. I much prefer using the tranexamic acid since there is debate over the safety of using hydroquinone over time. It will take longer for the Discoloration Correcting Serum to show results since it is not a prescription product but I feel that a gentle approach is better in the sense that I can potentially layer other actives with this product to bolster the skin brightening effects.

I almost forgot to mention that there is also niacinamide in this formulation, which will work to improve the overall tone of the skin since it has a brightening effect. Niacinamide will also improve the texture of the skin over time by reducing pore size. This product, along with the Daily Brightening Serum and the Vitamin C Booster Powder are the trifecta for overall brightening and fading discoloration in the skin. I will be looking forward to the effects from this product along with the other two products with continued use since the initial results are very promising!

Love the product itself however the dropper broke on 2 of my bottles... thank God I have extra droppers but it's unfortunate.

I originally purchased the Discoloration Correcting Serum as part of GM's Brighten, Correct & Boost set, and originally I was a fan of this serum + the Vitamin C Booster Powder and not so much with the Daily Brightening Serum and had decided to quit using that one - since then though, I've changed my mind and am using it again now, as well as the Discoloration Correcting Serum + the Vitamin C powder.

I have now just about finished my first bottle of Discoloration Correcting Serum (it lasted me about 3 months) as well as having recently purchased my 2nd bottle of the Niacinamide Toner, and I really believe primarily these two products daily + the Vitamin C powder used a few days a week have really helped brighten and even out my skin, especially with the darker patches I've developed on my face with age at over 50 now.

What I've changed in recent weeks with my regimen is I've discontinued using the Niacinamide Serum, and plan to discontinue using the Hyaluronic Acid serum once I finish off that bottle, and instead using the Daily Brightening Serum (since it has hyaluronic acid in it) and the Discoloration Correcting Serum (since it has niacinamide in it) in place of those two. It seemed like overkill to try to fit them all or most of them in, and I feel like continuing to use these two along with the Super Peptide Serum, the Niacinamide Toner, and a few times weekly with the Vitamin C Booster Powder is addressing all of my concerns and will give me continued good results without the overkill of using too many serums.

I was definitely seeing results in the first and second weeks of using all of the GM brightening/discoloration products. A little over 2 months later I can definitely see even stronger results - my skin looks & feels better than it ever has, my fine lines are still there but very much reduced, and while my face still shows some light darkened patches, it has definitely improved from what it was!

I certainly recommend this for anyone else with some of the patchy issues I have had, whether you're over 50 or not - it's definitely worth a try!

I just finished my first bottle of this and I can positively say it has help make a significant difference in the darkness of my hyperpigmentation. I’m wearing less foundation to cover it. I’m ordering another bottle right now.

I have been using this daily in my morning routine for three months and I really think this has lightened up my old acne scars/spots.

I am using differin at night and my skin is naturally oily but has been prone to sensitivity and light peeling and dryness when I skimp on moisturizer; this is hydrating enough on its own after I apply this on semi damp skin after gentle toner. Perfect for layering too, under a moistures and spf. I love the unscented, light weight yet hydrating feel of the serum and is pleasant to use every day. It does not stink around the eyes.

I do think that you have to be consistent and keep using to see results and I wish that the formula was a bit more “powerful” to see clear-er brighter skin more quick, but I guess this formula is gentle and I do like it.

This serum feels very light and refreshing on my oily sensitive acne prone skin. I does work well with my other skincare from other brands without any pilling nor irritation. I cannot wait to see the brightening full results from the Niacinamide and Tranexamic acid in it. I wanted to add how great Beautylish's customer service is!
