Great for Asian/small eyelid
This is my new favorite brush to apply color while blending out at the same time. It fits perfectly in my small crease and seems to blend color out on its own. My mac 217 is pretty good but not as soft as the brush. Its also slightly more oval while this is more of a round shape. I also like that it's long and white. I only used this brush for this whole look.

I'm comparing this to the Hakuhodo J142 and the Hourglass #4 brush. The handle and design is generally a lot more luxurious--the white handle is longer, tapered and is complemented very nicely by the golden ferule--and at $21 (and with Beautylish's amazing shipping times and customer service), I would say such a greater value than the other two. It was a little scratchy at first, but it got fluffier and softer after the first wash. You have to be super careful when drying this because the outer hairs tend to lose its form if bent while drying--and it's quite hard to get them back into original condition.
It's got the same density as the Hakuhodo, however, the Hakuhodo has softer hairs. Its hard to compare the softness to the Hourglass because the Hourglass has synthetic hairs, vs goat for the other two (saikoho for the Hakuhodo).
This Chikuhodo brush blends very nicely, and I admit I have been using it more than both the Hakuhodo and Hourglass combined as of late. It's wonderful at doing its job, but I didn't really notice one brush being better at it than the others.
I would definitely recommend this--but keep in mind that you do have to take care of it really well.

From left to right... Tom Ford 13, gsn 10, and Mac 222. Pic is for size comparison ONLY! If tom ford 13 and mac 222 had a baby it would be the chikuhodo gsn 10 brush. If your a cut crease kinda gal this is your brush! After washing it it kinda kept it's shape. I didn't use a brush guard otherwise it probably would be back to when I first got it. I do enjoy the long pointy handle. It's not takumi kinda soft but it's soft enough.

This is super soft and great for applying color to the crease and blending. It is tapered and can even apply color to the outer-v. Compared to the Tom Ford #13 brush this one is slightly longer, more tapered, less dense and just as soft. I would say the Tom Ford is a slightly better blender but for less than half the price this is practically a steal. This is a great addition to my collection.

Absolutely lovely brush really glad I bought it...I bought this from Ireland. Ordered Friday night and got it Monday morning!!! That's shockingly fast and they add on tax at check out so your not charged a fortune in customs!

I wanted to love this brush. I had been eyeing it awhile before I finally purchased it. Unfortunately, I don't think it's worth the price. I'd rather pay a little more to get a Wayne Goss brush, they're amazing. This brush frayed badly after just one wash. It also left skip marks when applying eye shadow.
Pros: Soft, I like the handle length and weight.
Cons: Frayed bristles, skips when applying eye shadow.
I have cheaper brushes that out perform this one. Hard pass for me.

I have already purchased two of these and I will be getting a third for travel/back up. i LOVE this brush. Let me discuss a few things. First, the handle. It is so long which i LOVE when it comes to blending brushes. Depending on where you hold your brush will determine the way your shadow blends. If you hold the brush close to the feral then you use more pressure depositing more product and giving a deeper look. The further you hold your hand on the brush, the softer the blend. This brush gives me the option for both looks. Some brushes come way too small in the chikuhodo line and I lose that option of control. This brush gives me exact precise control and I LOVE it! I also love that after washing it, it keeps its shape. It comes to a slight point at the end which I love for my hooded eyes and after washing it, it keeps that point. Like any brush with time it begins to fray outward BUT that is what brush guards are for. Place it in a brush guard after it has dried from washing and leave it for 24hrs and it gets the shape back. The brush is also extremely soft. Softer than my sigma or morphs blending brushes that seems to be all the rage on YouTube. I myself am a YouTuber so of course I give cheaper options and alternatives BUT if you can afford brushes with higher quality, it will make such a HUGE difference in performance of products and the overall look. I adore this brush and will buy two more just in case they ever discontinue! lol

I love this brush, its excellent at applying concentrated color in the crease but can also blend that color out. The price is great too, really affordable considering the quality. I am going to purchase another one of these as soon as it comes back in stock. Highly recommend!
