The Better Oil

This oil is perfect for my combo skin during the colder months. I tend not to use facial oils during the summer. It soaks into my skin beautifully. Leaves my skin very soft and doesn’t break me out. The INCI list is thoughtfully curated. I am so happy to add this to my night skincare routine

I have naturally oily skin and sensitive skin, so I was hesitant but this oil does not break me out! This oil is amazing! I use it every 2 days at night time with my moisteizer, and sometimes when I feel like I need a “pick me up” I reach for this. Whenever I have nasty hormonal break outs on my jaw area this seems to really calm it as well! I love it and i for sure will be repurchasing.

So soothing for my skin. I especially love using this on my retinoid nights. The ingredients are praise-worthy! I’m honestly so glad sea buckthorn oil is the first ingredients—and you don’t see that often in facial oils.

This is a very nice oil- for my normal to dry skin, I find it suitable for daytime use. I like to mix with Mr. Reliable. I don’t mind chamomile and did notice that it soothed my wind chapped winter skin. Very good price point for quality ingredients. I think that oilier skin types would prefer this at nighttime. Thanks to Beautylish for sending this for me to try. I am impressed by this brand.

I acutally really wanted to like this. I already bought the aquafix & mr reliable which I really like - but I always have some dry spots on my cheeks especially on colder days & I thought this oil might be the solution. First of all it applies ok, but it is just really oily. It did not suck into my skin at all & I was worried about my hair being oily because of it... would it stuck to my head while sleeping? I mean I could live with that but I could definitely not live with the smell... It smells like old fried oil or tuna oil omg! And it did not go away over night - I woke up several times at night with the smell in my nose - horrible Also my face was suuuper oily in the morning like i have never seen it before (Ive got combo skin). I just really can not recommend this oil - I wish I could but it was a huge fail for me. Might be better for other skin types or less sensible because of the smell? Not sure - but nothing for me. But I do love the other products!!

I ended up returning because I couldn't overcome the smell of this oil. It felt nice while on, but it wasn't for me.
