Lip Lustre

First let me start out by saying that I have been a professional makeup artist for 15 years. I graduated from an actually makeup academy, have worked for Estée Lauder, MAC, and Sephora, as well as for myself. With that being said, I have been DYING for Charlotte's line to come out! Working with so many brands of makeup over the years, and not being able to find the exact tones you want in things, I knew Charlotte would create all the colors I could never find, and she has absolutely delivered! First let me say, this is the Nude lip gloss that I could never find. They were always a bit too pink, or peach or brown. This is the ONE!!!! This color is an absolute star. I could have cried when I swatched it. Lol! If even the smallest part of you wants this, BUY IT! It is the PERFECT nude! It is the nude lip gloss to end all other nude lip glosses. If you buy this you will never need to buy another nude tone lip gloss again. No other will ever compare! It's gorgeous, the color is dead on. Celebrity nude all the way! Thank you Charlotte! i love all of CT products!! these slip glosses are great, they don't feel super thick or sticky but you can feel that they're gonna last and stay on your lips (if you get what i mean?) lol i have every color! some are very similar so if you don't collect like i do you may want to just get a few. There's nothing wrong with it, but the price point is too high for what you get. If the lipgloss was closer to $10-$15, it would be a better reflection of the quality and color.

CONS - container is TINY - texture is a bit sticky (my hair gets caught on it during windy days) but it's not nearly as sticky as MAC lipglasses. - color is ok (non-shimmery neutral berry color). No doubt you can probably find a dupe(s) in the drugstore. - Not particularly moisturizing - it just kind of sat on top of my lip.

PROS - it fades slowly and gracefully - because it just sort of sits on top of lips, it doesn't migrate too much - no weird taste - it has just a hint of vanilla

I read some reviews of others complaining about the size of the product & the packaging & I dont get the fuss. A little goes a long way with this gloss so the discreet bottle is just fine with me, its great for tucking in a pocket. And the small applicator, for me, just ensures against using too much gloss & having it become goopy. She always has reasons for designing her products the way she does. I love the color, CT knocks it out of the park in that aspect every time. She knows what shades are flooding the market & time & again manages to put out that shade thats upscale and just different enough from whats classic or trending at the moment to give you that perfect color you just cant seem to find no matter how hard you try. Stop looking & buy CT, its that simple. Charlotte Tilbury is dupe proof for sure in shades and in quality. And somehow she made this gloss to last on your lips, even if it is a light color. I dont wonder how she does these things anymore, I'm just glad for it and buy with confidence! I like to use the Ibiza Nights Lip Lustre with her Iconic Nude Lip Cheat lip liner. Its great for those days I want a low maintenance look thats easy and fresh.

I wanted to get a red lip gloss to go with the lip liner I just bought also from the purview of Charlotte Tilbury and this was the one suggested and it's "Dead on!" (love the pun). But honestly it really is perfect and in reds I suppose Dead On isn't too bad. I am in love with the texture and lack of stickiness or bad taste from this gloss. And the color is THIS YEAR'S COLOR. So buy, buy, buy and if by chance the product's back-ordered be patient because they do get the products back in rather quickly. This was the perfect color for Christmas and New Year's Eve. Love it, love it, love it! I think Charlotte Tilbury might be one of the three best make up lines in the coloring box.

I like this gloss so much that I ordered three more shades. I find it to be creamy, long lasting and it doesn't migrate up into those little lines above my lips (the joy of being older ~ ha!). I don't mind the size because I don't go through glosses quickly and it will last me a long time without worry of growing old. I used one of my Diors glosses the other day and found it sticky and gooey compared to the Lip Lustre.

I ordered this along with Penelope pink and and Pillow talk lip liner (which the pillow talk was too light for my skin tone) and let me start by saying that I'm light -medium brown skin tone African American, but I can usually wear all light shades. The combination of the lipstick and lip lacquer were pretty, but I wanted more of a nude lip, not so pinky ,which the combination was more pink than I wanted. I rather the Penelope pink and Bardot beige combo.Seduction was pretty, not too much slip or stick and if you love CT and just love her complete look. I would say that this is a pretty subtle pink. However, I much prefer her lipstick-Lip lacquer combos than her lip lacquer alone.

Charlotte Tilbury created the perfect Lip Lustre- with perfection in not only shades because it can be worn alone for a quick glow or over lipstick for the ultimate model pout!

I think that the quality of this brand is really obvious when you use the products... this lip gloss delivers. On it's own, it has enough pigmentation to give you a great red lip. If you were to use with lip liner and a red lipstick, you'd have some added depth and it'd be perfect. I could not believe how long the color lasts. It is only very slightly sticky, the staying power is fantastic. I am dying to try everything that this brand has to offer

Love it. Amazing colour that glides on and gives a subtle rosy champagne shimmer. Most lipglosses are either too shimmery and can be drying but this one leaves the lips moist and lasts for a good 4 to 5 hours with the shimmer intact. Its perfect for day or night.
