Lip Cheat

I had never used a lip liner until this one and I have to admit that this is a whole new world that is a way to prevent those little lines that creep color directly above your lip in the early signs of aging, called smile lines. (yes, they won't make you smile when you look in a mirror and there they are). So join the adults who have those little lines and prevent what I call creep by using liner and this is the one to start with, especially because lipstick is all about red, red, red this year. This has a nice SOFT point that fills in any areas you choose to put the liner. So at age 61 I am growing up and using lip liner for the first time.

Hmm...maybe my expectations were a bit too high? The color is very pretty, as it's hard to find a good nude with a bit of pink in it, but I didn't find it to glide on easily. It didn't skip, but I wasn't blown away with how it applied. Try it for the color, but, as far as texture, the formula isn't all that special.

Nude lips are hard to perfect. It's either too light, too dark, looks dry or doesn't show at all. I use this with a lip balm and the liner lasts beyond 6 hours. Love it!

I have light-medium brown African American skin and usually have no problem with any brown or pinky nudes being flattering on me, even when it's just a case of it not being a shade that I preferred. However, Pillow Talk (which I noticed that CT uses a lot in her tutorials) on me, looks like it has been left on my mouth after my lipstick had worn off...totally not flattering on me, no real pigmentation and a disappointment. When I swatched it on my hand, it looked fine, but not on my face. I have Iconic nude lip pencil that works well on me, even after I first put it on, with the Bardot beige lip lacquer (Couple with Penelope Pink ) and it works, but the Pillow Talk, just doesn't work on me,even after putting on the Penelope Pink Lipstick and Seduction Lip lacquer and/or Bardot beige lip lacquer.

I absolutely adore Charlote Tilbury's line, including her lip liners. I actually own 3 of them - Pink Venus that goes well with Sexy Sienna matte lipstick, Crazy on Love that is the perfect match for Amazing Grace lipstick, Pillow Talk that is a nice neutral nude that I use with Bitch Perfect, and Iconic Nude that is a little darker that Pillow Talk so it looks good is you are going for Very Victoria it any other light brown or brownish shade. These pencils glide like butter, will last for hours, and will never run or crease if you fill your lips with a lip liner. A must have.

This is the Perfect nude as it blends into lipstick amazingly! Love the consistency, not too creamy but cream enough that it smoothly glides onto the lips. Also it has very long lasting staying power - even when I eat! Overall great

I love this lip pencil under nude, pink and peachy lip colors. Works amazing under Penelope Pink and Bitch Perfect lipsticks or alone under Seduction Lip Lustre. This has replaced all of my nude/ neutral liners. Great texture which is soft, blendable and long lasting. Absolute must have!

First off, I love the color Pillow Talk. It is the perfect pinky nude for me. I was, however, not impressed with the formula or staying power of this lip liner. It made my lips look full and lovely, but I couldn't get the liner to stay put for very long. I expected this to stay on, at least longer than the lipstick or gloss that I applied over it, but it wore off at exactly the same rate as anything I applied over top of it. Even when I wore it alone and let it set well before eating or drinking, it wore off quickly. To me, the formula was quite dry, and it did not apply as smoothly as I expected. I really wanted to love this after reading all the hype about it, but it didn't live up to my expectations.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well I liked this pencil. It applied very smoothly and is a fantastic color for my highly pigmented lips. It is just the right nude shade without having any orange and without being too brown. Other brands (MAC) seem to be too dry and don't apply well on my lips, but this seems to glide effortlessly. The Iconic Nude with Bardot Beige gloss creates the perfect sultry, full pout that is classic and grown up. Nice look! It is also pretty on its own. I find myself reaching for this liner often and I rarely bother with lip liners anymore.

I bought both iconic nude and pillow talk. The beauty of these liners is the buttery formula, they glide on so effortlessly. They are both BEAUTIFUL colors, Iconic nude being more brown based and pillow talk pink based but both very nude tones. Honestly, how well they glide on is just wonderful. Charlotte has made her products so easy to use. I definitely recommend these liners! And if you are a person who tends to have a more dry lip then Definitely buy them, so easy to apply!
