I have a very very different take on this lipstick than Emily does; so different that I wonder if we are even talking bout the same lipstick.

Moisturizing? I wouldn't know because this lipstick has little to no staying power. I had to re-touch it 15 minutes after applying it. Before anyone asks, No, I did not eat or drink anything. My lips touched nothing, and yes, I used a lip primer. It's like the color vanished into thin air. Th pigment ratio is horrible; I had to make 4 passes to get any color payoff: Horrible, horrible and horrible. Maybe I received a lipstick from a bad batch, because I cannot think of one redeeming quality that this lipstick possesses.

If you are going to spend 30+ dollars on a lipstick, Charlotte Tillbury's just are not ones that I would recommend. If you want the quality of the product to match your hard earned dollars, I suggest taking look at Kevyn Aucoin's, Tom Ford, Chanel, NARS and Julie Hewett's lipsticks...All well worth the money. This lipstick greatly greatly disappointed me. The only reason I even gave this lipstick one star is because after you apply it, it has a chocolate sort of taste to it... and I love Chocolate.

I just love this shade, love the lipstick! I am very fair, and most nude lipsticks just don't show up on me. I generally have to go with a bright pink to get an effect. However this lipstick was " present" in more ways than one. It actually looked great which is a first for me with nude lipsticks. In my experience lipsticks look very different on different people. This one is perfect for me when I wear a strong eye. To address the issues below, I find it to be very moisturizing and soothing to my otherwise very dry lips. I exfoliate my lips daily and use lip cream and primer before applying any lipstick. I am very hard on lipsticks. Generally I will require several applications during my 12 hour shift, so I think I am a pretty good test for any lipstick. I find it to be long lasting, and still very present on my lips when I check at my regular checks, a first for me and especially with such an emollient lipstick. I love it! I'm getting more if they are still available!

When I first received this lipstick, I thought "Meh...this doesn't look like anything exciting." But when I wore it for the first time, especially as the day went on (it is very long-wearing but not drying), I would look at myself in the mirror and think "WOW! What a great nude shade!" I'm pretty fair (MAC NW20) and most nudes just sort of disappear on me or wash me out, but this one has just enough pigment in it to give my lips that "bright" effect that nude lipsticks give medium-to-dark skin tones. And, I feel like it must have something to give it a little bit of a sheen/glow (sort of a faintly light-reflective quality?) that is more apparent as the day goes on. I recommend this and Tom Ford's Spanish Pink to everyone who asks me for the perfect nude lipstick!

I found the coverage to be quite good (though a bit paler that I expected), but what I cannot get past is the slightly grainy texture. I'm accustomed to my lipsticks being super smooth (regardless if the formulas are sheer or full coverage) and I'm a bit disappointed this premium priced lipstick didn't deliver.

Also, the tube looks pretty, but doesn't have the weight that I get from other brands that are at a similar price point. Until further reviews come in for other shades, I'm going to hold off purchasing any other lipsticks from this line.

This shade has been the missing red since the 1950's. For red lovers, I'm sure you understand where I'm coming from in saying that, too. Want that perfect red Marilyn Monroe Pout with pearly whites? Sure, there's MAC's Ruby Woo...but WHY has NO other company achieved this level of perfection in a red for over 60 years? It's mind boggling until you realize the genius that is "So Charlotte" and her thought process over every shade

All of her shades are SO WELL thought out. The nudes do not wash you out or look muddy while the reds are so bold and brilliant in color, with it's cool blue base making it perfect for any skin tone, and making those pearly whites brighter.

**Tip: The color is super moisturizing so it takes about 10 minutes to dry, however, Charlotte's Lip Cheats are waterproof, so just finish with a little of her Lip Cheat in Kiss ' N' Tell (also blue based) and you're good for the day!

I honestly didn't know a nude lip could have this much of an impact. It's a very distinct nude (different than I'm used to,) but still subtle enough for daytime/work wear. Not too beige or brown...just enough peachiness to warm up my face and make my eyes pop. I also highly recommend the iconic nude lip cheat liner and the first love blusher from Charlotte (coordinated to pair with this shade) as they all come together to form a naturally sexy look.

Beautiful to a fault especially paired with CT high society lip lustre. I find that coral based lipstick generally look so-so with my complexion but this works. For reference I am NC 45.

This is the first of the Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks that I tried and I love the texture and the amount of time they stay on. This color is a bit light for me because I need a brighter shade to make my light skin look healthier. But I am very happy with the product. It's one of the best lipsticks I have ever used in terms of not pulling my skin as I apply it and the staying power. I would not call it a stain, just a full coverage lipstick.

Great coverage, beautiful colour. Perhaps a bit too light for my NC45 skin. Think of Mac Spirit - this lip colour is lighter than that. However, exfoliate your lips before hand as I find it emphasises dry spots! Gorgeous packaging! Definitely worth purchasing!

This lipstick glides on so smoothly! The color is a perfectly balanced matte with a very slight shimmer. My lips feel super soft and moisturized. The color is intense and lasts for hours requiring almost no reapplication. Night Crimson is sultry without being too overpowering. The perfect seductive shade!
