Full Fat Lashes

I am a mascara junkie. My high-end favorites are Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill and then Chanel Le Volume de Chanel. For me, nothing else compares. However, those do require some expertise and care to properly remove and I do not want to use them every day. Charlotte Tilbury's full fat lashes is quickly becoming my daily go-to. It doesn't hold a curl as strongly as the aforementioned mascaras, but that is being picky. It is easy to apply, and offers a fluttery effect. My lashes are not hard or sticky and they look much fuller upon using two coats. Of course, I use many more coats, and have had no issues with clumping. It is easy to remove and does not irritate my sensitive eyes. I am extremely particular about the wand, and this one is amazing. This will stay in my permanent rotation of mascaras.

I have tried a LOT of mascaras promising everything from looking almost fake to runway perfection. None of them have lived up to their hype. I decided to try this one after seeing a recent youtube review from Vintageortacky. First off the application was amazingly easy I didn't have to do a lot of wiggle or play to get the wand between individual lashes and it applied evenly, a couple of strokes and I had gorgeous eye popping lashes that were clump free. The last trial was to see if it smudges, which I have horrible luck with also. The trial run was on a dinner date during a particularly humid and hot evening. Didn't budge! Holy Grail mascara? Haven't found better, so it is for me!

I have been using Toofaced Better Than Sex mascara which is an impressive mascara. I have heard good things about the Charlotte Tilbury Mascara, and seeing as I was due for a New Mascara, I thought I would give it a go. What I like about this Mascara compared to the Toofaced Mascara.. I still get the length and the volume that I get from the former mascara, I love the wand because it is not too big and I don't end up with product everywhere on my eyelids. With the Toofaced mascara, it flaked and smudged after a while, the Charlotte Tilbury Mascara does not do this to me. I am impressed.

I am no stranger to high end makeup, having consistently used Hourglass and Clinique mascara for a few years now. Haven't touched a drug store in a very long time. When I saw the review for Full Fat Lashes from Vintage or Tacky, I figured I needed this mascara. Wow, what a let down. First, the wand is almost painful to use. The bristles are very, very stiff and sharp. I can't even get to the root of my lashes, because the wand feels like it's cutting me and poking

The formula itself is nothing special, any more than any other high end. It actually feels a bit thinned out, but I will say it does not flake or smudge. I usually only put one coat of mascara on, but with this I am putting on three coats just to get the fullness. No length at all. I get better lashes from Clinique High Impact Curling mascara and Hourglass Film Nior.

I will say, the packaging is very nice, as all her products are.

Normally I don't buy anything except waterproof mascara, but since last year I have made a point to only buy cruelty-free products and finding a new one that I liked has been difficult. Seeing as I was trying a few other CT products, I decided to take a chance on this mascara and am I ever glad I did! This mascara does everything it promises. When applying it doesn't clump, keeps my lashes separated, gives length and volume. And I have to say I love the brush. Many mascaras I've tried, I've found the brush is just too big, this one is the perfect size. Despite it not being waterproof, this lasts all day for me, and doesn't give me the dreaded under-eye smudges by the end of the workday. Will definitely be repurchasing.

Charlotte Tilbury hustles the heck of her "full fat lashes" mascara.... Full fat is what Brits called 3.5% milk, Semi Skimmed is 2%, Skim is Skim... For those who haven't lived in the UK or have British friends. It's a pretty average, non remarkable mascara, I have thick long eyelashes naturally, and I like them to look extremely full and defined. Holy grail mascara's are Chanel inimitable Intense, I only need two coats and no primer to get extremely full, curled lashes, and Tom Ford Extreme Mascara, same thing, 2 coats false lash effect. This one? With Dior Show Primer I had a nice day look with about four coats of mascara, several passes each eye! The brush is is supposed to be some innovative "star" design that curls and separates, but Charlotte, much as I like her as an artist, really knows how to spread it on thick! The brush is mediocre, it facilitates the application of the product, nothing more. If you want basic lashes at a mid to relatively expensive price point, this is for you. For divine ones, I've heard great things about that new It Cosmetics Mascara Superhero....

The #1 most important makeup item to me is my mascara. I buy every brand new release trying to find the best one and wow have I finally found it! CT Full Fat Lashes do just that. I found myself reaching for this everyday now, used to be based on my mood, one day Chanel, next day Georgio Armani, but now this is my new HG! It easily builds, my favorite part about this mascara is how full and soft my lashes are. Other brands usually make my lashes hard and at the end of the day flake, no issues at all with this new love in my life. Can't wait to see what's ahead in CT future releases. I'm so, so, so heartbroken. I adore Charlotte Tilbury makeup, and when I first put this mascara on, it looked GORGEOUS. Full, fat, fluttery, long, perfect lashes. I only wore it for 3 hours, and it had fallen out all over my under eye. There was a semi-circle of grey and black under my eyes. I wouldn't even wipe it away as it had melted into my concealer. Beautiful mascara, but zero staying power. So so so so so so so disappointed.

I give it 2nd chance after messy first. I don't recommend this for anyone with straight eyelash and in the tropical country like me. I end up like joker 😅

Just...okay. I am fortunate to have full and long lashes but they are very pale blonde. I wanted to love this but at most, it tinted my lashes a very light black (dark grey) color. I did feel I had definition to some degree, but even with curling, there was really no volume, lengthening or enhancement to my eyelashes. I wore this on days I had minimal makeup and it was a struggle to use up...in fact I didn't. I threw it away after the three month mark. I did like the wetter formula and the brush was wonderful but the payoff was underwhelming.
