Colour Chameleon

I absolutely love these!! they stay put all day long and ond don't budge, the only problem i have is blending them (lets say for a smokey eye) is a bit difficult. so i know do my normal smokey eye with eyeshadow then just apply this on my eyelid. no blending for me lol. I expected some shine but there are giant chunks of iridescent glitter. Like cheap craft store glitter. Might be appropriate if you're going out clubbing but not at all something I could wear during the day. Any attempt to blend the pencil out just make the glitter more apparent. The base itself is long wearing but the glitter does flake...everywhere! Beyond disappointed.

The Charlotte Tilbury pencils apply with moderate-intense opacity (the lightest shade applied with one stroke for these swatches, the darkest with two) and have duo-chrome, multi-tonal shimmer finishes. The wide pencil head for me makes it much easy for me to use these all over the lid or as an eyeshadow base. They are creamy, and blend well with fingers or a fluffy crease brush.

I always love a great neutral with a little extra bang, so this champagne color is perfect for my blue eyes. Super easy to apply, I lined my upper and Lower lash lines (thick lines) and used a matte all over and it looked so great! My eyes popped! Love it! I know another reviewer said it looked like "chunky glitter" and I can see how she thought that, but it's far from "drugstore cheap" ladies! It depends on ones preference I guess. Staying power was awesome! Even lasted on my hand when I swatched for a friend and thru many hand washings. So, If you like a little extra pizzaz for all my fun gals, don't hesitate to try! Fabulous!

Dark Pearl and Amber Haze have become my go to eye products for days where I am on the run and don't have time for a full eye look. I scribble Dark Pearl on the lid and blend up into my crease with my ring finger, smudge some under my lower lash line, put some mascara on and can basically run out the door with a complete eye look. I always have people ask me what is on my eyes when I wear these. Work one eye at a time though because once they set they are there for good. Also Charlotte uses the word "bedazzle" to describe these...That should clue you in as to the level of sparkle... As with any eye color product I suggest using an eye primer! I personally like the cover fx primer!

I ordered Bronzed Garnet and Dark Pearl. Very happy with both. Creamy, able to blend for a bit before it sets. Bronzed Garnet is gorgeous and unique, will be great for Autumn. Dark Pearl is lovely, a silvery brown. Both have glitter, but nothing out of control. A very elegant, adult shimmer to these.

Mind you, I'm not saying these are perfect by any means ! I purchased 3, Dark Pearl, Amethyst and Amber Haze and so far out of the 3, Dark Pearl is my favorite.

These swatch beautifully, however Dark Pearl applies a little bit patchy and dry on my very oily lids. Without primer, the creasing is intense, with it - it can last quite a few hours looking great. I have tried blending these out with a fluffy brush and it's a no-go, the one brush that seems to blend them out the best on my lids is the Real Techniques deluxe crease brush.

Dark Pearl is meant as a daytime shade for brown eyes and I have to say, in that sense it's perfect. Blended over the lid, a little into the crease and with a soft brown to blend out the crease - it looks just perfect. It really does make got a gorgeous subtle daytime smokey eye. Dark Pearl has been my go to every single time I wear makeup lately.

I received Amber Haze as part of the Bombshell kit, and was hesitant about the colur chameleans because of the mixed reviews. On me, this works like a dream. Its so creamy when I put it on. And it stays all day, doesn't fade, doesn't crease and I have oily lids. I use MAC eye primer and set it with a bit of loose powder and then just use the pencil over it. You do have to work fast, but I can smudge it out, especially on the lower lash line. My eyes are brown, and the color does make them stand out. I bought other shades as well. Hopefully those work as well as this one does. Truly fast eye make up as well. Which is perfect when your getting ready for work in the morning.

The Color Chameleons are one of my new favorites! They are so easy to apply and effortless to blend. The formula is super creamy so it glides on smoothly and can be blended out with a finger or a brush. After a few minutes, once its set, its there for the whole day without any creasing. The thing I love most is that I feel like I can just use this one thing and have a full eye look. No need for multiple colors, multiple brushes, etc. etc. It can either be really strong or blended out to be pretty sheer.

Some of the colors have glitter, some do not. Across the Color Chameleons there are a variety of finishes, so look at skin swatches to figure out which is the right one for you.

Very unhappy with this color. Don't even try to put it on with your finger...glitter goes everywhere. I expected some shimmer, but flakes. I also got the Bronzed Garnet , which I really like. It has shimmer that, but you can wear it. Beautylish is GREAT!. Their packaging is adorable and shipping is fast! Very happy with them!
